Will Cutter Boley be playing?

Think Boley suiting up decides how this one goes.

If Boley doesn't play I will have to go with Catholic. 21 to 14

Crickets. This is a big game. I assume it is a bit of a rivalry? I am surprised at how quiet it is in here. Trying to keep Boley status quiet?

Just did some quick google research. Boley was walking on the sideline after "hopping" off the field last week with the injury. X-rays scheduled. Results unknown.

For those who say not that big a deal - move Drew Nieves the starter at QB the last two years back to QB instead of WR. Problem. Nieves is injured and out for maybe the next 2-3 weeks.

Figured the Boley situation has it a little quiet on here. What happens to RPI if they drop this game as well?

First and foremost, KHSAA RPI is about wins. A team gets basically zero points if they lose, regardless of how good the team is that beat them.

Second big factor is beating teams in classes higher than yours. LCA has missed a couple of those big points getter opportunities already. They really need a win over Lex Cath to add those RPI points.

That said, a loss Friday very likely could put LCA a few spots lower in RPI than people are expecting.

Gotcha. Thanks for the clarity on the RPI VoR! As a BW Tiger fan, the RPI has put us in that 2-3 spot every year. So seeing a change in RPI this year has me a bit concerned on who will be playing who if the eagles fall to let’s say the 4 seed come playoff time.

Rule 13

This one was over in the blink of an eye last year, so I'm looking for a highly motivated Catholic squad this week. Factor in Boley's status being up in the air... I'll take LexCath in a tight one.

Is it fair to say there's some contention between these two schools? It adds a little extra juice to a rivalry game like this.

Bump.

Walker Hall caps an 8+ minute drive with a 1 yard touchdown run.

LCA is on the move at LexCath's 35.

Hall ran over somebody on his way to the endzone. Kid never had a prayer of making that tackle.
