Sometimes, I think people give X too much credit. With 2 consecutive 2nd round losses in the rear view mirror, what is there exactly about this season's team that says they have improved significantly? So if Trimble doesn't play Friday, how much effect does that have against Manual? Can the Tigers restore the running game?

I definitely want to see what happens when South finally plays some 5A teams instead of 3A and 4A teams.

Southern is a 2A school forced to play 6A. Male 60-0.

Madison Central does not defend the run well at all. Gave up 360 yards rushing in their two losses, as well as 262 rushing yards against Great Crossing. JR RB Dakari Talbert just tallied 197 rushing yards vs Male. Save any inexplicable turnovers by Douglass, I expect a 28-7 lead by the beginning of the 4th quarter.

Because of Trinity's RPI. Remember, T's RPI is considerably low because of their out of state games. CAL's RPI is very high. So, that is likely the reason for the flip, in addition to Male having a deservedly low RPI. However, with #3 6A RPI Madison Central coming to town, the opportunity to jump Ryle is within grasp. Douglass' remaining district foes are ALL significantly higher rated than Ryle's district, in addition to Boyle in the season finale. So, Douglass just has to handle business and they can earn home field through the third round.

Woodford 63, Collins 14.

BE isn't good and neither is Creek. I say Male beats them both by 14. BUT I think Creek has the best chance of the district to upset Male.

It's always good to beat Male, but clearly they are down. We left a lot of points out there, and for Broncos faithful, that is cause for concern.

Again. 5A is Woodford's to lose. They likely put up 50+ in 2 weeks as well.

They got bad advice from someone who told them they would be cleared, no problem. The story didn't mention if they actually moved or not, however. Does the sit out a year penalty apply if you actually change addresses? Or is that irregardless to the reason you transferred, and every transfer has to apply for a waiver? The Great Crossing QB who transferred to Wofo like 2 weeks before the season started comes to mind. Who advised him that the starting QB for one team could leave that team, and start playing right away at a new school?? Yikes.

Ryle - Douglass winner. UNLESS Oldham County upsets Ryle in 2nd round, or Madison Central/Station beats Douglass in the 3rd round.

None. South Warren will be the #1 seed. T at best will be #2, at worst #3. X making it to the semis means either they beat Manual, or someone else did, so the Tigers would be the 3rd seed in the semis, not the 4th. No one can jump an unbeaten, or even once beaten South Warren at this point in the RPI.

This season's BoCo is a great story in of itself, but they have feasted on cupcakes. However, the last coaching staff may have only gone 2-4 against this same schedule, so I understand the hype on the Hill.

Based on these ratings, Douglass can afford to lose at least one non-district game of their remaining 5 , and stay ahead of Ryle for home field advantage if Ryle wins out. Ryle's remaining district foes RPIs are way lower than FD's district foes RPIs. 3rd round east teams, T, FD, Ryle and either Mad. Cent or Bryan Station. I project a final 4 of #1 South Warren, #2 Manual, #3 Trinity and #4 Douglass.

Ok, now I can't speak for the play calling, but to say SK had the better players, that isn't true. This was a good HS game between two mid tier teams. Bryan Station turned the ball over on downs twice in the redzone, once on a 4th and goal. They had two missed FGs. They consistently drove the field on SK, they just couldn't punch it in. I'm a Douglass guy, so I am not biased for Station. For every one 10+ yard completion SK had, Station had two. SK had good plays, but so did Station. I was at the game, I am assuming you were as well. The 24-14 margin was closer than the game actually was.

Respect to SK! Ya'll not trash, yall got potential!
