I wouldn't put that asterisk. I think Pulaski is really tough and deserved the win. Underrated team. Really good ballgame. Central will be better when they get a couple kids back.

They did, could be the reason they couldn’t stop Pulaski in the 3rd qtr lol.

Yep - great ballgame. MC had wide open 3 to win in regulation and missed. Both the teams could wind up winning their respective regions. Madison Central played only 5 players due to football returnees sitting and injuries and one that’s ineligible.

I guess I should have said he lost any support he had by playing his son at QB. I know the thinking was out there for 2 kids that could’ve been much better options that they had no shot to play QB because his son was there and didn’t play. His son played DE at Estill Co and played well this year, definitely the position he should’ve been playing all along. He would do a good job again at Garrard Co. His program at Mad Central went in the tank badly at the end due to lots of reasons, with his credibility with players being one of them.

MC by end of the year may be really good, but they’ll have 9-10 losses due to ridiculous schedule. I think they play Cov Cath twice, NLaurel, GRC, Knox Central, Bardstown, possible Ballard in tourney, Dunbar, Lex Cath, Lincoln Co for starters.

I think Dunbar and Madison Central are a little bit too high. Dunbar lost their expected best player Hall to prep school and MC losing Harrison to ineligibility and Hardge to torn ACL.

He’s a great person. He lost lots of support at MC by playing his son at QB when he was clearly a OL/DL.

A lot of schools don’t. My son’s team doesn’t have it on a website yet. A lot of them just post on Twitter and that’s it.

RC offering it and him taking it are two different things. I’m with you though, he’d be my first call.

That is not the worst idea either.

It was at least -2 last night, with possibility of -4. The last punt for Madison Central hit a St. X player but luckily for St X bounced right into the returner’s hands. Would have big a big momentum switch.

KHSAA should’ve gone to 5 instead of 6. But truth be told if state still had 4 classes, the 2/4 championships could easily be bloodbaths ( Male/Boyle vs anybody) .

Yep. If MC would’ve scored on that drive before that, St. X was finished. Defense got that stop. Wild that Madison Central had won 2 games combined in the previous 2 years. That team is probably gonna be in that semi final range as long as Holcomb is there. They didn’t look overmatched at all. MC defense has caused turnovers all year long. That’s their MO. Not a real surprise on them causing St X trouble from that standpoint. Easily the best non-Louisville 6A team in state. St. X earned that one.

That’s what makes X season even better. Their DL wasn’t even expected to start and have been lights out all year.

Lots of sophomores on MC. Should be pretty good for foreseeable future. X really did great job in 2nd half pushing MC behind the chains.

Madison Central lost their best defensive player half way through the season. Their defense was stout even without him. St. X grinded out that last drive for the W.

Big play before half changed game.

MC as well coached as any team in the state. Big pass late is what will ultimately get them beat.

Hardge is out for the year. Central played 5 players the entire scrimmage vs Male on Tuesday.

Madison Central should be ready. Mike Holcomb is one of the best ever, but St. X just has too much talent.

MC very thin this year, injuries and a kid waiting on eligibility. Should be really good at end of year.

Madison Central probably the best non-Louisville 6A team, but they won't be able to do much offensively against X. St X 28 MC 0

I think FD will probably still be 5A. It’ll be close though.
