I think Benke is getting really comfortable at QB. He has gotten better each week. Highlands D was flying to the ball. Nice win for the birds.

Hey, that’s the Highlands way going way back. Highlands shouldn’t ever be sucking wind. Dale would run our stones off if anyone put that much on the scoreboard.

Congrats to the Birds. Offense looks pretty good. Benke seems to be adjusting to QB and looking comfortable. He’s obviously the guy and will only get better. Wide receivers looked great as usual. Running game looked better. The first half highlands defense looked great. Pressured the QB, finishing tackles. Second half they looked a little winded. Pursuit to the ball got significantly worse second half. Got the W. Lots of good things, some things to clean up, conditioning is a factor. Run them boys hard Monday.

I was there. The skill guys delivered, yeah. But the lines and defense were not that great, flat flat flat. They were nails, not hammers. They got pushed around. I hope they come out with their hair on fire and take the hit to them. But I seriously doubt it. Hope I’m wrong. just being real.

I think this game will be more like 21-20. Birds have been coming out flat with no energy. They are extremely beatable and everyone can see it.

The car has already wrecked twice. I think if they lost bad again there wouldn’t be much more Highlands posting to be honest.

True, it would be a bad bad sign. Although I know nothing about Raceland besides that they are a quality smaller school. Highlands needs a win here.
