  1. Most of there O line is returning I thought. The sophomore class is loaded with talent as they beat everyone there freshmen year except rule but that was lost on a bad kick off return call by someone. I believe they beat Male’s Jv as well this season. Covcath will be as good as advertised next year as well
  2. Anyone have the stats for the game?
  3. Who votes on these and who determines who the nominees are?
  4. Highlands did open up the enrollment for tuition kids. That should help them get some talent right? Also there youth programs don’t play competitive football. You think that has anything to do with what they have up top?
  5. Well the positive is that the last few weeks the Camels have been scoring touchdowns. I have to assume that they changed coordinators right?
  6. Well Highlands defense should hold up here right?
  7. The statement is not saying they are not doing a good job. They are getting wins. But it was just said that they hired a Junior high coaching staff to lead the Varsity program. Not saying they have not done good but as a program you have to think bigger and for the future. You should never be satisfied with a 7-3 record. I can remember that staff had some good coaches on it early on and they left. One is at Covcath and the other is at Ryle. Either way I am pumped for them but to be honest this is the most anyone has acknowledged the mustangs all year. Also said in a post earlier it cost 7k to go there. Make it 7500 and pay a big hitter. I don’t know the answers just simply saying if I had kids with what looks to be a beautiful facility, I would want to step up the game and put the pressure on the staff to get more. There is nothing wrong with pushing your employees
  8. What does Covcath have coming back. They seem to reload every year but does not look like they have many underclassmen playing on the o-line. Who leaves and who stays? What’s coming?
  9. I looked on the website of Covington Catholic and there are kids living farther south of BBHS that go to Covcath. Brossart is taking the next steps to compete and win some playoff games. That is not happening from what it looks like with the current staff.
  10. Brossart is a coaching staff away from being relevant. They are spending a lot of money on the facilities and I suspect the next head coach will be someone who can pull kids away from Campbell and Newcath without saying a word. “If you build it, they will come!”
  11. I am not sure Douglas runs the ball like they did against LC if they had a Michael Mayer in the middle. He is the X-factor in my opinion. He changes games plans at this level. Will be a fun game to attend if the stars do align.
  12. So the real question is. Who wins between Douglas and Covcath?
  13. I think it’s hard to get quality coaches that are willing to make the Drive all the way down 27. That’s a large commitment for a couple grand a year. Also they have had the same staff Or keep bringing back the old staff for years. The problem with CC is they need to have a full cleaning of the house. Let Mike Wolfe wipe the slate clean and give him the resources to build your program. Until that they will struggle for the years to come. Let him hire coaches that coach football and not other sports. Coaches that focus on 1 sport not 4. Look around NKY. That’s what other schools have done. And they are winning at all levels. Mike is the guy. Just not sure about the rest!
  14. 3 years ago the Campbell County middle school team completely dominated every opponent that touched the field. Where is that team today?
  15. Someone needs to rescue Mike Wolfe from Campbell County.
