What's the issue in So. CC?

Issues are a weak senior class and a lot of injuries. Anyone who knew anything about the program knew this would be a down year. No one thought it would be this bad, but injuries have pushed it that way.

3 years ago the Campbell County middle school team completely dominated every opponent that touched the field. Where is that team today?

They are juniors this year with most getting their first playing time on varsity. A few players have stepped away from sports altogether, some are specializing in other sports. I think this is an example of not rotating in younger players enough to gain experience and not putting enough attention and time into your JV development.

Woodland had the most Dominate middle school teams.

Winning it all in 2013, 2015 and 2017.

And now it shows today up at Scott.

I just don’t understand how CC is struggling so bad.

I think it’s hard to get quality coaches that are willing to make the Drive all the way down 27. That’s a large commitment for a couple grand a year. Also they have had the same staff Or keep bringing back the old staff for years. The problem with CC is they need to have a full cleaning of the house. Let Mike Wolfe wipe the slate clean and give him the resources to build your program. Until that they will struggle for the years to come. Let him hire coaches that coach football and not other sports. Coaches that focus on 1 sport not 4. Look around NKY. That’s what other schools have done. And they are winning at all levels. Mike is the guy. Just not sure about the rest!
