Will the Tigers of Ft. Mitchell see them in the semifinals then?

Is Berger the favorite right now? Aside from his game versus Cov Cath he looks undeniable.

Going to see a lot of other guys getting some time this week. Get everyone some reps so when it’s time to have to rely on somebody else they are ready to go. Beechwood running clock before second half.

RPI is so funny to me. I love the entertainment and unsettling feeling it brings week to week. We really have no clue how the playoffs will truly look come November.

Drastically you’d have to assume right? Loss to 1A opponent? No matter how many games Pikeville wins from here on out, feel like it can’t outweigh being beaten by 1A.

Couldn’t agree more. We are giving them all the fuel for the fire come playoff time. I surely don’t want them coming to ft. Mitchell in November. Really the best scenario would be mayfield and LCA both lose. But I’d say that is next to impossible.

If Boley comes back in time for the playoffs though who knows what can happen. We won’t truly know until regular season is over, RPI locks, and they create the bracket.

RPI seems to be the most interesting it’s been since instated this year. Not clear top 3. Deciding the playoff path of the top 3 is very entertaining

And that would be perfectly okay with me. I would love a Mayfield/Beechwood finals. Would just feel right for the rivalry. LCA plays a crazy schedule and they should get rewarded for that. I know injury bug has bitten them, but there’s no doubt they are not 15th best team in the state.

Seeing LCA that far down is just down right disrespectful. But that’s how the computer works. In the end, it will all work itself out, and I see the 3 usuals, and maybe OCath being the last team. Shame for LCA. I’m sure they will roll all the way to the final 4, but all the travel doesn’t seem right. I would love for them to take the trip to mayfield for us, instead of the tigers having to do so.

I’d say it’s still Beechwood, LCA, Mayfield among the top. Hard to say who will play who, because the RPI will have everything out of whack. In an ideal world as a tigers fan, you’d like for LCA and mayfield to beat up on each other and then play one of those two in the finals. Hard to say. When RPI comes out I think it gives us a picture of how this all will play out. As a Tiger fan I’d love for a Mayfield Final. Something about that rivalry being a state championship just makes it more exciting to me. I’ve witnessed the last two state championships, I love the rivalry that’s been created, but gimme the cards in the finals, and not because I think they are a weaker team. I’d love to see that rivalry on the biggest stage.

Gotcha. Thanks for the clarity on the RPI VoR! As a BW Tiger fan, the RPI has put us in that 2-3 spot every year. So seeing a change in RPI this year has me a bit concerned on who will be playing who if the eagles fall to let’s say the 4 seed come playoff time.

Figured the Boley situation has it a little quiet on here. What happens to RPI if they drop this game as well?

Yeah I’d say everyone knows to try and get the tigers to throw the ball. Hasn’t really slowed them down yet. If one team on their schedule has the ability, it’s Cov Cath. We will see this week. One of those games where the name on the jersey is going to fuel the other team. Look for Berger to really try and punish whoever is in front of him.

Beechwood 28-14.

They still have Nieves on the team. If his injury isn’t season ending as well he can easily go right back to playing QB for LCA. He’s already led them to 2 state championships.

In the last 20 seconds. Good for the kid, he will be good in the future but let’s not skew the story.
