This was another amazing summary B-Ball-Fan, just like you've done all year. We're lucky to have this insight and one stop shopping for the week of hoops. I agree this week is bitter sweet as I love regular season hoops, there's nothing like post season. But never want it to end. We will have HC and Stetson standout DeAsia Beal tomorrow for the HC at Ryle girls game!! The great news is that we will be on the air for the entire 35th District boys and girls tournaments audio only!! We will be live at a district winner for the first round boys and girls and all of the semi-finals and finals for both boys and girls! Can't wait!! We love doing these tournaments as this is the 3rd year for us at the regional tournaments.

Holmes is looking to keep some momentum going into post season and Highlands is trying to solidify their position as a 9th Region Favorite as these teams square off for the 2nd time this season with Highlands winning the first game by a score of 89-78. Big game in Edgewood tonight as Beechwood and Dixie Heights square off. Two teams trying to have some momentum going into post season. But we all know the big story tonight is Scotty Draud is 22 points away from the top of the 9th Region scoring list and has a chance to get that on the same floor as Brandon Hatton 7 years ago. Scotty's dad Scott took that record away from Doug Schloemer who held it for 8 years. Scotty will take the crown off Brandon Hatton after 7 years. Great call by the St. Henry students on the broadcast and the final seconds especially. The thing that immediately stood out to me is the stoic reaction by Coach Dave Faust. They say act like you've been there before and if anyone doesn't know what that means show them this video clip. Coach realized all that gave them was a tie game and a free throw yet to come and a last shot by cch after that.

How much time was left when Vieth hit the shot?

Anytime you have two 1000 point scoring seniors as good as Vieth and Bessler you can with a game against a young yet talented team. Congrats to St Henry and Coach Faust.

Amazing. Heard he scored 72 as a 6th grader in an AAU tournament

Hatton 7th grade was 59 points and 8th grade was 305 points.

High school doesn't matter. Only varsity and Scotty's are all varsity. He is on pace for the home game against Walton, but how amazing would it be to happen at Dixie the game before?

Always fun when these two district rivalries clash. The Holy Cross two headed monster of Meyer and McClendon vs the deepest team in the 9th Region the CovCath Colonels. CovCath comes into this game ranked 3rd in the state. Winner should get the #1 seed in the 35th district tournament. They will not be playing on a college court this year. Due to COVID the first round of the region tournament will be hosted by each district winner and then the semifinals and championship will be at Holmes.

This should be one of the biggest regular season games this season in a rematch of the regional finals from last year. Highlands with the NKU signee and leading candidate for Player of the Year Sam Vinson and lots back from last year. CCH with top to bottom the most talent in the region and newcomer from Beechwood Mitchell Rylee leading this stacked roster in scoring. This has the makings of a classic.

Thanks Guru! Very excited about this one. Sorry for the buffering last week as we think it was a weak hot spot signal at Holmes. We've had great success at Ryle and we should be good with the video! I think this game will be within a TD, but would have to give Ryle the edge at home and the win over Dixie earlier. But as you know, playoff football you just never know. And 2020 is not the most predictable year for HS football.

(859) Radio can't wait to bring this one to the football fans around the state. Going to be lots of running today as both teams have both thrown for just over 300 yards each. Boyd has the three headed monster of Stevens, Staten and Kelly who each have over 500 yards rushing. Holmes will counter with the Calloway twins: QB Quantez has rushed for over 1000 and Tayquan has almost 800 yards on the ground.
