The top three teams in this district is what high school football is all about in the end one of the three is going to be happy after the second round of the playoffs and the other two are not but any of the three could be the team that survives and it’s great drama to watch.

I’m surprised Desales blew a big lead I know it was early but maybe that gives the rest of 3A some confidence that Desales is beatable.

I was really close on this one I picked Manual 20-17. I’m really happy for Manual it seems like they are an afterthought when it comes to high school football in the city of Louisville and I’m glad to see them get this win.

Little taste of Texas is pretty good if you like BBQ Riblickers is good I suggest the Big’un tater now for the game as much as I would love to see Barren pull off the upset it’s just not going to happen it’s funny I feel like Barren left 5A to get away from Bowling Green and South Warren and if those two were to play the Hardin Co teams this year I think the Hardin Co teams would win but that’s just bad luck I guess my prediction is 56-7 Central.

I’m picking the upset 20-17 Manual.

The problem ain’t Lexington Catholic’s offense they will score points the problem is Boyle Co scores as much as they want to so I’m picking Boyle something like 59-28.

I think Cal is down more than people realize I wouldn’t be surprised if Desales gets them pretty good.

I think Somerset does to Danville this year what Danville has done to them several times.

I would like to see that to but unless they meet in the state championship that’s probably unlikely but that would be one heck of a game.

I’m not sold on Bell Co, Mercer Co,Russell, Cal or PT I think Glasgow is better than all five of those teams but in the end the rankings don’t mean anything it’s who is left standing at the end.

I believe next week is a really important game for Adair if they win that game they assure themselves of a playoff appearance they would probably be in anyway having already beaten Hart but I would rather be positive.

I think OC needs to play a tougher schedule other than Owensboro it seems like all they play is cupcakes and then they lose earlier than expected in the playoffs now I understand you can’t help who’s in your district but it might be time to break away from the traditional teams on your schedule and play some new teams.

Congratulations BG I think if South has a chance to beat BG in the playoffs they need their QB to heal quickly.

Seemed like Glasgow had a hangover after the tough game against South Warren but from the second quarter on it was all Scotties.

I said I was surprised by how many people was picking PT I just felt like this wouldn’t be a good matchup for a running team if you’re going to beat Desales you better be able to throw the ball.

Do you get the feeling it FC couldn’t get Russellville this year they may never.

I’m a little surprised so many people are picking PT in this while I will be pulling for PT I think Desales is a better team than Mayfield this year and PT didn’t look great against Mayfield.

I think South really struggles offensively in this game if they are going to win I think they have to play great defense and force a couple turnovers.
