  1. Imagine how much more we'd be hearing from the resident WKU loyalists if they had had a better C-USA season. :bunny:
  2. Not to mention, Ronnie Bass is also the most devastating and explosive blocker in football history. It can't be debated.
  3. Great movie, didn't like the ending twist in this one over previous ones, but the music is AWESOME. Her french song at the beginning gave me chills, and I understood exactly zero words in it.
  4. The WCC just earned an extra share of the kitty, AD's and Presidents on the west coast rejoice.
  5. A) Great list! B) Really cool graphic to announce it. Wish him the best.
  6. I think more possessions is always going to favor the teams with better players.
  7. I would happily take those 8 and give you the field. :thumb:
  8. The price of purchasing, installing, and operating a shot clock are not cheap. Research suggests that it will cost approximately $2,000 – $4,000 for most schools to purchase the shot clocks and have them installed. Depending on the current facilities in each high school gym, it’s not as simple as purchasing a shot clock and away they go… There are installation costs that will vary greatly depending on the current setup. Some may need to purchase entire new scoreboards to make it happen which will be a remarkably more significant cost.
  9. 8 states and the District of Columbia use a shot clock. Cost is the issue.
  10. Hmm, this is an interesting take. Care to expound on this? They have undoubtedly had some decent players, one VERY GOOD one, but your "primarily due" inclusion is very interesting. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
  11. Not according to some of the freezing cold takes in this thread.
  12. Sounds like the Shaka Smart experiment in Austin may be coming to a rather abrupt end.
  13. If you go to BracketMatrix.com (I'd highly recommend it to anyone who loves the Bracketology conversations) you'll see that more people think Belmont is out (51) than in (36). For what it's worth.
  14. So...umm...do you play golf left-handed?
  15. I had a great caddy there, he was a pro at a course in Charleston on Isle of Palms, but caddies at the Ocean Course two days a week for extra money (and perks). He spent 20 minutes on the range with me getting my yardages down -- first and only time a caddy at a public course has done that, and I've played and had caddies at some great tracks. The wind was down the day I played, and I played EXCEPTIONALLY well, shooting a 79. I'm an above average putter, but I poured in a ton of putts with his local knowledge on the greens. I was a lot better then than I am now, as I can assure you I wouldn't break 92 if I played there today. I'm also well aware that you're a LOT better than I am, but man, that round for me was one of my highlights in the game. I got up and down from behind the green on #1, holing a 12 footer for par, that I NEVER would have made if not for his assistance on the line.
  16. Really happy for Trinity, congrats to the Rocks on finishing this off! Also, another great season and post-season run for the Cards.
