  1. Where is the Jones kid from CovCath in terms of college interest?
  2. Of note, while I haven't been there, I hear that Rollins College is gorgeous. Same with Sewanee, both in the fact that I haven't been there, and that I hear it is beautiful.
  3. Awesome hire by the Breds, that dude has rolled up his sleeves to promote and support that program for years, glad he finally gets his shot at the helm.
  4. The only food I put salt on, and scarcely even then, is sliced tomatoes. The only thing I put pepper on is sliced tomatoes, fried eggs, and cottage cheese. Not a big S&P guy, obviously.
  5. Main vehicle is black. Secondary vehicle is navy blue.
  6. There are so many styles of each that this isn't as cut-and-dried as many are giving it. Traditional cole slaw (KFC-ish) would beat out German Potato Salad for me, as an example. Mustard Potato Salad would beat out any slaw, to be sure, but there just so many options to how each are made, I can't throw a blanket answer out there.
  7. Virginia Pepperdine University of Washington University of Wisconsin Nebraska LSU (super cool campus) Michigan Tufts University of Maine Texas A&M University of Colorado (coolest architecture theme I've seen)
  8. I snack on peanuts at night while I'm watching TV. If I'm feeling really frisky, maybe an ice cream sandwich.
  9. My cable / internet bill is outrageous, and my cell phone bill (with a kid on there) for unlimited data isn't far behind.
  10. I have it behind City BBQ but ahead of Sugarfire and Smoking This and That.
  11. Their sides are subpar too. Hit up Sugarfire (I know, it is in Union) and I won't be back. Too many things bugged me about that place to even list them all, but suffice it to say, I have a hankering for BBQ I'm heading back to City BBQ at the intersection of 18 and Mall Road. Want a "hole in the wall", try Kabobske's on Mall Road -- their steak skewers are fantastic, the food is fresh, and the service is great. We eat there often. I still like Rafferty's and Quaker Steak and Lube, both still get some of my money on occasion. O'Charley's has taken a sharp turn for the worse over the last few years. Longhorn has quality steaks and really good sides.
  12. Literally my FAVORITE stretch of highway in this part of the country. So much fun, so beautiful, and a blast to drive. Now I've heard horror stories about traffic jams there, but knock on wood, I've never had to sit in one.
  13. 75 south in Cincinnati, from Mitchell Ave. to the Brent Spence, is way worse than either direction in NKY will ever be. Made doubly so by the fact that the road is perpetually uneven, being worked on, and has the bottle-neck down to two lanes starting at Western Ave. in order to head south across the Brent Spence Bridge.
  14. I paid $2.49 this morning in NKY. Also, I can't believe this thread has me actually noticing and remembering the price per gallon when I fill up. Right, wrong, or indifferent, I'm going to the same gas station every fill-up, regardless of price. I have a 26 gallon tank, I never have it below a quarter tank, so I'm not driving to-and-fro to save .10 a gallon on a 20 gallon top-off. It is $2.00.
  15. Man, that is sad to hear, sorry to hear he fell onto the wrong path. Hope he can get things figured out and turns the corner while rehabilitating behind bars.
  16. There has never been a US President who was an only child. That being said, you got my vote! :thumb:
  17. 21 of the first 23 NASA Astronauts were first-born children. "...fly me to the moon..."
