If your contention is that OSU could have retrieved the deleted texts but didn’t then it goes against your belief about the investigation being thorough. My guess, based off of their displeasure with how he deleted the texts that they had no legal recourse to retrieve them.

That would probably require a court order. Plus, it appears as if Urban is being less than forthcoming.

Correct, thus, I don't agree that your contention that Gene looked worse than Urban is correct.

Again, Mary Jo White said neither of them did what they should have done. She didn't place the blame solely on Gene. She also said it was poor judgment by both to use the "let's wait on the police report" line.

Interesting perspective. Didn't the report say that neither Urban nor Gene did what they were supposed to do? My impression is that Gene was taking some of the heat off of Urban.
