This is the coming reality. I guess we all will just have to adjust to it. Teams like X and Trinity, should tell teams like Butler to play enough sophomores to play the game rather than cancel.

The crimson will be looking for great things from this group. Be nice if they would try and put together a game with the Trinity freshman team this year.

I will start it off, with coach Bob Bronger, the current coach at Louisville Holy Cross. The coach that brought about the end of the historic trinity win streak.

You take your best 50 players. You double them up 2 to a room. Now your talking 25 rooms, not 50-75 rooms. Here is one fan that was looking forward to flying out to the game, and taking a mini vacation. Also wanted to see a Trinity alum who is very involved in the Las Vegas community. He is a super successful restaurant owner. You also have to look-at long term benefits from playing a game like this occasionally.this type of trip can do nothing else but help your enrollment. Our Trinity alum out there would, I am sure, cut the expense of feeding the boys.

Very short sighted like most school administrators. They let the basketball team travel all over the country, why not football if someone is picking up the largest piece of the expense, the travel cost.

What was the best senior class that should have won state but fell short in the playoffs ?woulda, shoulda, coulda. I can remember the Saint x team that beat Trinity something like 42-6 during the regular season, then lost to Trinity in the state final.

I remember working a game with Waggener I never heard such disrespect between coaches and players. It was MF this and MF that. And I am talking about exchanges between coaches and players. No son of mine would have ever played on a Bob Redman team.

Atherton beat Saint X ! Tell us more about what you recall about this game. That had to be a historic win for Atherton. I remember in the late 60’s DeSales being heavily favored at Atherton and lost. The DeSales head coach kept the colts on the field at halftime to go through a regular practice.

That might be a little tough, teaching at one school, while coaching at another school that is on your football schedule.

Remember when we heard the same thing out of the highlands fans, that we are now hearing from the Covington Catholic fans. Well, highlands started playing Trinity in game type scrimmages and the results were anything but close.

Anyone have a handle on what frosh talent is present in the 7th region. Who is loaded up, and who is, the cupboard is empty.

Would love to live long enough to see Trinity take another state championship.talent wise, they are set up to do that very thing this year.

Thsrocks. That’s why the Trinity frosh should over schedule. Every year a team or two will bail out. Leaving us short. I would tell some of the public schools to play their Jv teams against our frosh, if that means they will not cancel. I doubt if fern creek goes through with either the Jv or frosh game.

I was hoping the Trinity frosh would get an additional 2 or 3 games to finish out the frosh schedule. With a squad that big, 8 or 9 games not enough.
