St. Xavier managed a field goal on their opening drive for their only offensive score. The Tigers scored on a kickoff return after Fern Creek TD on a nice 40 yard bomb. I am not sure what Fern Creek staff was thinking. Fern Creek threw an interception that was returned for a 45 yard touchdown just before half for a 17-3 St. Xavier lead.

Fern Creek kicked to the same Noah Malubay and he returned it for another St. Xavier touchdown.

The Tigers Evan Walker returned a fumbled handoff 10 yards for a touchdown.

Fern Creek did not come close to an offensive score.

I was not there but was told final was 31-12. That St X did not have an offensive TD, scoring on defense and special teams. Fern Creek had 2 TD on offense, missed both conversions.

The weather got to me. Fern Creek did score against the Tigers subs. It was not pretty as St. Xavier started third string QB. 31-12 is correct. I will have the thread corrected. I hope Fern Creek does not cancel their JV and Freshman games with Trinity.

Got it guys, thanks.

Thsrocks. That’s why the Trinity frosh should over schedule. Every year a team or two will bail out. Leaving us short. I would tell some of the public schools to play their Jv teams against our frosh, if that means they will not cancel. I doubt if fern creek goes through with either the Jv or frosh game.

Mulabay kid is a quick cat. He had big game against Male.

Fern Creek has some talented players. The QB will be a good one. He needs a little more help from his O-Line. The receivers have potential. The Creekers did experience some success running the ball.

You can't have the mishandled exchange between QB and RB get batted into the air and caught by a DE and walked in for a TD.

The opening kickoff was an onside kick by FC. Why the Creekers chose to kick straight to Malubay twice, especially after the first return for a TD is a mystery to me.
