Trinity faces Ballard for the District Three top seed. The Rocks come in at 9-0 and the Bruins are 5-3. Trinity beat Seneca 42-0 and Ballard took down Jeffersontown 55-13.

 

Trinity owns a 45-5 lead in the series that began in 1972. The last Bruins victory (14-12) came in 1995. The Rocks own 25 consecutive wins, including two in 2016 (55-0 and 63-20).

 

Trinity may have a more difficult time recording a shutout this week, but a running clock is still expected.

Yes, his track record was amazing. He won as an assistant at Durrett with his father. He had winning teams at Waggener. He had winning teams at Ballard. He had winning teams at Male. I suppose his only "failure" was at Jeffersonville (IN).

 

I am hoping for a running clock without the shortened quarters. The second and third stringers for both sides deserve some time on the field.

This game will also feature current Trinity assistant coach, former Ballard head coach, and current Ballard teacher Mike Jackson making his return to Ballard as an opposing coach.

That might be a little tough, teaching at one school, while coaching at another school that is on your football schedule.

I remember working a game with Waggener I never heard such disrespect between coaches and players. It was MF this and MF that. And I am talking about exchanges between coaches and players. No son of mine would have ever played on a Bob Redman team.

Tom Fox taught at JTown and coached at Trinity for several years. I agree with you however. Going to work Monday would be tough.
