From my understanding, the state does not provide the rooms. They will book them for the teams but the schools have to foot the bill for all of the rooms.

I also believe LJ Miller (Holmes) and Isiah Voet (Lloyd) went to Woodland. I could be wrong but am almost positive they both went to Woodland.

Negative. The Pouncy kid went to Woodland which is the middle school on the same campus as Scott. If anything, they had kids leave and go to other schools rather than Scott.

Gotcha. What are, if there are, the rules about playing games in the regular season to be eligible for the post season?

You would think that a big company or shoe company would want to step in and "sponsor" the whole school to keep the doors open if that is even possible to be done.

Campbell Co's has always been top notch. Would agree about E-Town as it is very nice. Really cool set up too with the trees lining in the outfield and the big water tower in center field.

Was wondering the same about Ohmer. Would guess since he just committed to Western and he's a month behind in baseball, he's wanting to get started with that. This game is always a blast to attend. If you have never attended, I would highly recommend it.

Baseball is out of the picture. The boy has "verballed" to Cumberlands but he will have more A+ offers and gonna pay some where bigger if they give him money. Money talks and it will here.

Hate to have one of the better teams in the Sweet 16 going home after the first round. This game is very intriguing. With Hoptown's experience, I'll take them by 4.

Would think its Roddy's for the taking if he wants it. Some other names that come to mind are Sam Elsbernd and Chris Stapleton who are both looking for that first Varsity HC gig.

Bracken keeps it close early but look for CC to pull away and try to bury Bracken.

Agree that the whistle was swallowed for both teams. That's not my argument. For you though, as an official, let the exact same thing go all game and then call it at that point in the game, you're better off letting it go. I know that is something that you'll agree with.

Never said that. If you let that kind of contact happen all game without a foul, then you don't make that call that has an impact on the game.

Two very well coached teams and two groups of young men who play extremely hard! Wish the official would have not had an impact on the outcome but that's part of the game. Officials are human too and get caught up in the excitement. I can promise you one thing, there isn't a district winner who is going to leave the draw happy this morning. Good luck to both teams next week!
