I hear the birds finally have a few of the guys off the injury list. Even hearing rumors of a schematic change... this fan is very interested to see what changes BW is making to be able to stop the run. And look for a new sophomore just cleared to make a play or two.

Jack, I was simply answering your question . You asked " why wait until next year". My reply was you wait until he's 100% recovered from a major injury. The calendar or schedule does not dictate that. Let's remember, this wasn't a rolled ankle or anything like that.

Because you wait until he's 100% and not risking it at 80... give up the year to be fully healthy and not risk reinjury to a healing bone. It's weighing risk/reward, not a redshirt.

So true... This is the change in "culture" people were referring to in the pregame thread. I've seen teams play for decades, and I've never seen anything like that happen on that field.

I hate to say it, but Raiders 42-21. Reason 1, injuries. Birds are playing 3rd and 4th string at some positions.. Reason 2, the birds give a 10-12 yard cushion on EVERY play and Ryle will run right through those open lanes. Reason 3, HHS play calling has been questionable at best.

The birds are VERY injured right now and it showed. I hope they are able to heal up and get healthy. At several points in the game, the D had 3 sophomores , 6 juniors, and 2 seniors on the field... SC was too much for them to handle... by the way, the big lineman is a beast for SC.

I would say above the middle, but they have some work to do if they want to compete with cov cath or sk.. looking forward to when/if Huddleston finally Becomes healthy. He will be a needed addition to that D to stop the run. The O must find a way to start faster. 2 games, 2 terrible starts...
