  1. I hear Principals dad and husband are coaching them this summer. But I doubt that extends to next season.
  2. You are right. They are a breeding a culture that if your kid doesn't play then go complain about peripheral crap to the Principal and you will get the coach and staff in hot water.
  3. He did a very good job. Alexander was out for about 14 games with a broken hand. Hamm had to sit out first 3 games. Crump was out for about 8 games or so with an illness. Glasscock and Alexander caught the flu and missed a week. One key starter from the previous year(I believe Jaden) was out for the whole season with a knee injury. These players are key components. They got everyone back near the end of the season and started to gel. They gave Elliott all they wanted in the first game of the region. They have a good nucleus coming back and a great Sophomore class coming up that can play. Hopefully, these kids can get a coach in that will be allowed to stay as the kids don't deserve 3-4 coaches in 3-4 years. Now, Coach in the Crowd is 100% correct at daddyball over there over the last 2-3 years. And, 4 sets of parents and one daddy of one of those parents whined to the Principal who in this member's opinion failed to support her coach. They know who they are and a lot of other people know too.
  4. If I was the Vandy coach he would have a scholarship asap from me.
  5. Can someone who was at game tell me if Boyd tried to foul before Spenser hitting the 3 to send to OT?
  6. If this was seeded is that pretty close to the draw ?
  7. Top bracket Elliott v Fleming Boyd v. Russell Bottom Rowan v. Ashland Greenup v West Carter
  8. Rowan came out hot as a pistol. 7/13 3s in first half. Fleming 0/4. Rowan had no answer for Alexander. But he was pretty much a one man show tonight. Lathan Saunders played well but too many 3s for Rowan put this one out of reach.
  9. Offensively, Fleming has 3-4 players who can get 12-20 pts on a given night and they typically have 3-4 in double figures. But defense, bad turnovers and/or poor free throw shooting, any one of which rears its ugly head on a given night, will get you beat even against teams you should beat. The coaching staff did a good job at St. pat getting them to play defense and taking care of the ball after a year or so. I expect the same thing to happen here after the staff has them a year and in the summer. Glasscock has a chance to be a top 10 player next season. If he develops a consistent 3ptr next year he will be hard to contain.
  10. Suspended 2 games I hear. Don't know details. But it seems Fleming can never get its full strength of players all at one time. Hamm plays his butt off and gives it all he has. with Zach Alexander rounding back into playing form the two together (Hamm and ZA) could pose trouble for teams in the middle of the pack in the 16th. But it just seems that if something can go wrong for them such as injuries and discipline it does go wrong.
  11. Heard Eugene Hamm for Fleming didn't play. Fleming is snakebit it seems

  14. Zach Alexander should be back for Fleming in 2 weeks or less. Been out since first game of season. They need bodies that can contribute.
  15. Bradshaw is a nice player. Signed with Belmont. Heard he is a great kid too.
  16. Is his granddaddy Chuck Broughton who won the Sweet 16 with Paul Andrews?
