  1. I’m pulling for Saints to make region. Would love to see those kids play in the regional tourney.
  2. Hubbert, Jackson and Keeton accounted for 40ppg. Hubbert was 25ppg. Big losses for that school. But I agree. I thought they would have won more than 8 games this year.
  3. Hughes scores 28 in last home game. Congrats on a fantastic career.
  4. If you score 89 points in game you shouldn’t lose. Period
  5. Thanks. Is Jaden Campbell still not playing for Fleming?
  6. Thanks. Fleming has sure had its share of bad luck over the last two seasons especially those two fine young men.
  7. He was out all last year with torn ACL. Didn’t play 1 minute. Double double guy too. Hope it is nothing and he is playing tomorrow.
  8. Weak district and weak region. The number one team in the region, Ashland, is the worst rated number one team of all regions combined. That said, I have no idea how Rowan is rated above Fleming. Fleming beat them twice. Worst Rowan team I’ve seen in years. I predict Bath and Fleming will come out of this district with most likely losing records. I give the nod to Fleming to win the district especially since it is played at their home this year.
  9. One of the weakest districts in the state and one of the weakest regions in the state from top to bottom. If Alexander comes back at even 80% they have a real chance to win the region with a losing record.
  10. Omar Prewitt at MOCO had over 2100. I don’t think Jeff Taylor or Ken Lee did since 3 pointer was not in effect then.
  11. Home court advantage come District time may make Coach Stapleton clairvoyant.
  12. A couple of daddies were mad that they could no longer sit on the bench and continue daddy ball. One set of parents and the granddaddy whined bc their kid didn't play in the region. And he is average at best. It goes on and on with the politics there.
  13. There is talent there right now. Alexander is a top 5 player in the region next year. Glasscock is arguably a top 10 player. Jaden Waller will be a big contributor on both ends. Crump can be very good as well at the 2 spot. Sophomores Flannery, Johnson and Maher will be contributors and could be a starter if they develop over the summer. The pieces are definitely there for them to make a run in the region next year. Any coach coming in will be in a good position talent wise for at least 2-3 years.
