This is sad to hear. Up here in NKY the Enquirer went from bad to worse once they moved their printing up to Columbus. I am 34, and I am a newspaper kind of guy. I remember how awesome it was to come home from football practice and read this KY Post especially on Thursdays when tnhey highlighted a player/team and previewed all the upcoming games. The Enquirer never did that good of a job and now its abysmal.

He's so versatile, it'll take a guy his size that is a step faster. He can hit from anywhere. Hopefully Dunbar can't figure it out either

I think it's a really relevant question, given how versatile this young man is. He can dominate down low (see Trinity) and beyond the arc (see Murray). He can play with his back to the basket and on the wing. You can't let him go to the arc and let your big man sag bc Weyer can hit the three, but he can also drive. The fans turned this thread not the guru. Just bc some asinine poster says something everyone gets all fired up. That poster is just trying to get you fired up. I think this thread is a compliment to Ben Weyer.

Wow. I expected NCC to win just not by this much. The Breds were feeling it and Murray couldn't hit the ocean. I hope the college coaches around the state have opened their eyes to Ben Weyer. He can shoot from any where on the floor. Good luck tomorrow.

Does it ever occur to anyone that UKfan#1 doesn't care about any team and just gets on here to ruffle feathers? That's a serious question. Maybe he/she is a SK fan and maybe not? Why let what he/she says get under your skin? Obviously they're on a mission and its working.

Way to go Breds. From listening and reading the update thread it sounded like Trinity was not very confident going down low with Weyer there, and maybe to confident with there perimeter game. Did Trinity try and attack Weyer as it was mentioned he had zero fouls, which is mind boggling considering he plays the post. Did playing the regional at NKU truly help NCC? Or was it just one of those days? Good luck Friday.

No to classification. If you're on team fortunate to win a regional title you are almost held to the same level as your schools state championship football team, maybe even higher. The people wanting classes are adults not the kids playing. The little engine that could will always be the ones bringing basketball fans not affiliated with a school back to Rupp

So if these schools were christian schools, not catholic schools but still charged tuition, would it'd be an issue. Christianity is the religion, Catholicism is just a branch, live Baptist, Lutheran etc.

Didnt/doesn't bother me. Immature? Maybe. But I am as un-PC as it gets. Im not a gamer either. The only reason I was there was BC my son wanted to go and both his granpas thought itd be too late on a school night. Glad I went no doubt. Loved watching the game and myb sons reaction to every single big play by both teams. I thought he was going to ask me to shoot hoops until midnight.

Myself and my father In law saw the whole thing. I said what is she doing? She's missing a heck of a game. They had BB&T personnel talking to her as well as the admins from CC. I WAS pretty close to the crazies and heard nothing extremes/vulgar. That lady needs to grow up.

How many second chance points/opportunities did CC have? Dominated on offensive boards. Great hustle by both teams all night. I told my son they were both going to run out of juice by the end of the first quarter, both teams amped up 110%. He looked at me and said "yeah that's cause your old". Lmao kids say the darndest things.

Took my 7 year old son. While it was only my second Ncc game in two years his grandpas have taken him to a few. He's a big Weyer fan and told me all about him. I wasn't disappointed. I also wasn't disappointed by CovCath, namely #3. He is so fast off the dribble I thought Covacath would've made more plays a clear out for him. No one was guarding him one on one. While CovCath did miss enough open shot NewCath was turning the ball over like they were an elementary team. What a great game with a great great atmosphere. The Crazies were as advertised and had mysaelf and my son looking at them as much as the game, exactly what highschool games are all about. Good luck downstate Breds.

It was already getting dark but we parked in a lot by the soccer field.

Also, BB&T arena pretty nice venue for ghe tourney.

I went last night, we parked off campus and walked. My father in law( mid 50s) his two friend (mid 50s) and my 7 year old son. Took about 5-7 minutes to walk. Bought pre sale tickets then gasp we didn't indulge on concessions. Seems the main hang up for NKU is concession cost. When we were young my parents would every great once and a while would take us to a movie. My mom always said make sure you eat enough before the show, bc they weren't buying anythjng. Craziest thing was we ate before and didn't feel the need for a snack at the show. If you're on a tight budget like I am, just don't worry about eating at the game. Eat at home. I've never got how eating at a basketball game was even appealing.

I thought Cooper missed obviously way to many shots in the first half more than NewCaths D effected them. Also what was NewCath shooting behind the arc? I just thought they settled for to many three point attempts rather than drive to the hoop. Outside of Weyer (who was getting doubled down on most the night) down low I don't think the Breds attempted a jump shot. Going to need to hit those threes if they want to beat CovCath.

NewCath has either shot a three or a layup tonight. Nothing in between.

I was also referring to when money is taken out of my bank account. I set it up hyesterdsay and it wasn't withdrawn today. I'm not very patient and waiting 1-3. Business days is a little rough. Also I thought it would withdraw the change for me but I had to actually pick and choose which change to be transfered. I thought I'd swipe my card and automatically that change would transfered right then and there.

I read an article in the Washington Post recently about money saving apps; mainly Acorns. I did some research about it, sounded great. Got all set up and decided today I don't like that I have to choose which money they take from my account and that it takes 1-3 days for that money to be withdrawn. I did some more research and found a website called Digits. This money is deposited into a savings account based on your spending habits and can be withdrawn by me, penalty free as much as I'd like, all in one buisness day. I'm doing a trial run, just wanted to know if anyone has any experiences with any money saving site, not just these two particular ones.

This question is out of ignorance. The winning teams coach called TO while the ball was in posseion of the losing team? Or while ball was is the air? A coach can call TO during a loose ball and it will be granted given his team takes possession? Will it be granted if the opposing team takes possession? Crazy finish for sure, feel awful for that player.
