End of three 22-22 its really rough underneath with very few fouls called.

HC just took the lead. 20-19 with 2 min left in the third. Very aggressive for sure HC upping the pressure

17-11 at the half. HC cannot hit a shot. I have no idea why the Indians are not pressuring NDA more and upping the tempo.

The Indians alternated first team and second team the first three quarters and then played the end of the bench the fourth quarter. Beechwood played hard but just aren’t on the same level this year.

I got a call from a rep from the Reds the other day. "Would you be interested in season tickets? I see you had them in 2019". I kind of felt bad for the sales rep but had to say uh I don't think so. We barely used our tickets in 2019 when we had them. This year is going to be so bad.

The JV tournament is underway. I believe all the first rounds games have been played. I would have to assume NDA is the favorite again this year. The second round is 1/29. Final from the MLK Classic at GRC. Lots of quality teams and matchups today at GRC. I have no details about the game but played of the game for the Indians was Nejai Lewis.

Newport has been playing really well along with St. Henry. I think any of those three could win. It depends who is hitting their shots and who is playing well.

It is Nejai. She has played tough all year. Having that second big under the basket with Julia has made it tough on teams. Number 11 for Ludlow was lights out from the three. At one point Ludlow had 14 points and 12 of them were from her 3's. They never gave up but the Indians were just too much though. They subbed early and often with the last five on the bench playing part of the third quarter and all of the fourth. Next up CAL and Ashland Paul Blazer before district play.

I assume you are talking about Tucker? I haven't heard of her coaching an AAU team. I know she is busy with school and work and can't even be with the team full time.

Holy Cross defeated St. Henry in the first semi final game. St Henry was winning by one at the end of the first quarter. Holy Cross came back to lead by one at the half then pulled away in the third quarter and won 20 something. St. Henry slowed it down and HC had a ton of turnovers. When HC upped the tempo and started trapping they pulled away. The Indians are going to have to do better in the turn over department.

Agree with above . another thing to consider with aortic catastrophes is that people arrest from bleeding out. No AED is going to save that. The only thing that doesn't fit with cordis in my mind is that when people, especially young people, go into vfib which is the case in cordis and are shocked out of it they tend to wake up quickly. I am kind of surprised that the family has not authorized UC to release a medical statement as to what happened to quash all the rumors and speculation.

The Indians did a good job executing their plan having a hand in Eaglin's face the entire game and doubling when necessary. NCC had a lot of turnovers when pressured. Aleah Arlinghaus had three three pointers in the first half to help lift the Indians to a 16 point lead at half time. No disrespect meant to NCC but it is hard for a team that relies on one player to win against a stronger team. They are young though so lots of potential in the future. Indians face the winner of St Henry/Dayton in the semis Friday. I can't find the history on the new All A website but if I remember right NCC or HC has won the 9th region the last 20 years. It's a shame they had to play in the first round.

Absolutely agree with this. Apathy is a problem. It wasn't long ago we planned what we were doing around UK games and watching them. We would be eagerly by the computer the day the tickets were released to alum to buy our one set we were allotted because they sold out quickly now there are still conference game tickets available to alum. months after they went on sale. Last night we were at a high school game and someone commented on how bad UK played and I didn't even know they had a game. I knew it was bad when UK-UL tickets for tomorrow were available at face value on our local facebook page. My father the die hard fan gave up his season tickets because " I would rather watch my grandchildren play high school/grade school ball." UK probably doesn't care but maybe they should start.

I love that we’re playing teams from Cincinnati. It’s a great way to include some nice competition without significant travel. The travel time to Seton last night was 18 minutes. We are fortunate in NKY to have these opportunities. I am glad we are taking advantage of it.

I asked someone who was at the game about her. They said she did not get a sub until late in the game and only briefly and they were pressing most of the game. Thomas seemed like she was out of breath toward the end. Maybe she has been sick? I know the flu and flulike illness has going through several teams including HC. A good win by the Indians nonetheless. The Indians "only" went 8 deep last night but they all played good quality minutes. This should definitely be beneficial in the long run.
