The Indians did a good job executing their plan having a hand in Eaglin's face the entire game and doubling when necessary.  NCC had a lot of turnovers when pressured.  Aleah Arlinghaus had three three pointers in the first half to help lift the Indians to a 16 point lead at half time.  No disrespect meant to NCC but it is hard for a team that relies on one player to win against a stronger team.   They are young though so lots of potential in the future.  Indians face the winner of St Henry/Dayton in the semis Friday.  I can't find the history on the new All A website but if I remember right NCC or HC has won the 9th region the last 20 years.  It's a shame they had to play in the first round.

Per Terry Boehmker, in the 32 year history, NewCath has won the Girls 9th All A Region 15 times and Holy Cross has won it 13 times.  I'm assuming some / all of the other 4 are St Henry.
