Yea, I understand you not wanting to put the cart before the horse lol but NH has a lot on the line...CH has had their number I think for 5/6 straight years. If NH wins this game, they will have taken back the county by beating all the teams within it this season on their schedule. They haven't had a season like this in a while. CH can continue their dominance over NH with a win Friday night and the winner can avoid Trinity until the state quarters.

Looks like CH made this a hot game Friday night with their big district win over Meade.

I hear ya, that's probably wise as a CH fan...I'd say them playing at home gives them an advantage, I'll go with CH 35-21. As a NH fan, I can't help but think of the potential of the game, though. The last time NH played for a district title in 04, CH was the victor, a lot of stock in this game...

Friday the 21st @ Ray Story stadium in Radcliff will decide the 1 seed from 6a district 2. This has the makings to be an helluva game...will NH's much-improved from last season bend but don't break defense be able to contain Darius Barbour? Does senior night give NH an edge? Can CH's back 7 contain NH's potent passing attack? Some interesting storylines, indeed. What are your thoughts/predictions? How far can each team go in the playoffs?

Not so fast my friend...district 2 can beat your 2 seed and below. Now the Trinity game, district 2 doesn't have the ponies to play with Trinity this year. Just a simple, objective observation.

Yals secondary was legit...I was very impressed. The fact that NH couldn't run it with only 5 in the box hurt them.

Haha aye man, yal earned the bragging rights to talk the trash. I hope it gets renewed as well. DeSales is a good program, and for North to take the next step in the rebuilding, they need to win games against really good completion regardless of their class, I know DeSales isn't just any "little ole 2a school" lol

Outcome may be the same, I won't doubt that. But it would be played out differently. We had a backup qb start, also. DeSales is on a different level, that's the thing...they are a Trinity/St. X of 2a. They may not have as many athletes as those 2 schools, but they are as disciplined and play sound TEAM football. That goes a long way. We can agree to disagree...I like debating lol it's more difficult the less objective people are.

Don't think I placed blame solely on the officials, please don't mince my words. I think you're smarter than that. I don't think DeSales is better than South Warren, might be as good as. NH had 2 chance to win that game...they laid an egg last night. If you reread my initial post, I believe I gave sufficient love to the colts.

I'd be curious to see that game played on a neutral field. I highly suspect that game ends up much differently in terms of the final score. But I digress. DeSales whooped up on NH. They were stronger and more technically sound. Testament to good coaching. This was a measuring stick game for NH and they clearly have some ways to go, still.

Lol look, I wasn't at the game last year. But I know how to analyze a football game. I gave a lot of love to DeSales, it was earned. But to say those calls were legit is incorrect. To not agree that the refs helped them sustain drives is just being a homer. Plain and simple.

Was finally able to make it to a NH game. Unfortunately, they hadn't played that way all year. I was very impressed with DeSales' defense!! They made plays all night...that acrobatic pic on the sideline where the kid laid out full extension was pretty ridiculous, should've been on ESPN in all honesty! Your offense was given short field most of the night due to those turnovers...and I'll be quite frank, those refs were awful. There were many drives when NH should've gotten off the field but got hosed by some bad interference calls. I was able to sneak and look at them on video...they were all bad. Most were on plays were DeSales had a loss on the play or it was 3rd and long. They scored on all those drives. Hard to a two opponents at one. You may see it differently though, DD. Your boys flew to the ball and the o line looked very stout against many of our d linemen. NH has to get stronger up front in the off-season.

Hopefully the DeSales faithful shows up despite the rain and other game to create a great atmosphere...North traveled well to the SW game I was told, so hopefully the the rain doesn't hurt too much with the shorter distance. Anywho, I'm taking North's D over DeSales' O in a 24-14 slugfest!

They were beating those defending 4a state champs at SW at the half...but we all know there are 2 halves lol and the starting qb didn't play that game at all. Will be interesting to see how they finish this season. May be able to make it down to this game from up my way, it's the closest one for me.

A 21 point loss on the sticks (gaming system) is referred to as a skunk lol therefore, a 21 point loss is deemed a blowout...at least to the 30 and younger crowd.
