1. Trinity (6-0) – Trinity’s 70-0 win over Jeffersontown was a game that you hate to see. The game did give Trinity the ability not to worry about overlooking the opponent before taking on their archrival St. Xavier. Trinity will be the favorite in this game but rivalries are crazy so don’t take a Shamrock victory for granted in this weeks Featured Game.

2. Male (5-1) – Male over powers legitimate opponent Butler 41-12. Next week Male takes on very impressive Pleasure Ridge Park. This will be an outstanding game overshadowed the St. X vs. Trinity game.

3. Dupont Manual (6-0) – After several competive opponents (Central, Fern Creek, Ballard), Manual finally has an easier opponent in Western beating them 40-6. Next week the Crimsons will face a tougher opponent in Butler.

4. St. Xavier (4-1) – Was St. X’s 27-17 fairly close game further proof of PRP being a legit power this year or a game St. X couldn’t put away? Hard to say. The answer of St. X’s strength may came next week against #1 in the state, Trinity. This week's Featured Game of the week looks to be a potentially outstanding game.

5. Christian Academy of Louisville (5-1) – CAL had an off week so will retain the 5th ranking. Next week the Centurions face Meade County.

6. St. Francis DeSales (5-1) – Another good win for the Colts against 5A Power Fern Creek. Next week DeSales faces another strong opponent in North Hardin.

7. Pleasure Ridge Park (4-2) – PRP put forth an outstanding effort against St. X, however being two losses in a row will drop PRP one spot. Next week gets no easier as the Panthers welcome #2 Male.

8. South Oldham County (5-0) – South Oldham keeps on winning beating Oldham County 48-27. Next week South Oldham plays 0-6 Nelson County in which should be an easy victory.

9. Ballard (4-2) – Ballard wins the battle of the East End Jefferson County against Eastern High School 59-28. Next week Ballard will face 0-5 Seneca in a game which should be decided by half time.

10. North Hardin (5-1) – North Hardin blows out Monroe County but will face a much more difficult opponent in DeSales in what should be an outstanding game.

Honorable Mention - Spencer County is playing some good football and if they can keep winning and ranked team stumble, Spencer could ascend into the rankings.

Teams on the RiseCentral has been struggling this year but with a convincing win over talented Waggener, the Yellow Jackets win the Team on the Rise award.

Teams on the Decline – This week there really isn't one. There were really no suprise losses or teams that are slipping lately so this "award" will be retained this week.

I would still list Fern Creek among the honorable mention schools, but within the top 10 I think you nailed it!

PRP and DeSales strained my brain, really tough who to rank in top of the other. With the number of tough games this Friday, this ranking should look fairly different after this weekend.
