You all seem to be well versed on the talent of John and North Hardin...so what enlightenment is needed? We're all entitled to our opinions and I have mine. I just think north wins by 2 TDs. I don't think John can contain north in the secondary. And from looking at the regulation score and stats from the writeup on this site with North's game last week, I'd imagine their d is much improved. I think its be a good game, then John will get a turnover and they'll start then fold, heard this happened in the bg game. That's not a good sign for the first game of the season.

Those schools did not run the system all game and not come out of it is what I should have said. I misspoke. I played against the bowling Green within the last decade and they most certainly for a fact had a pro style offense that included some TFS stuff. They would line up in the I often withe Wallace's son often.

If they did I don't think that was their sole offense. Coach Rains was a wing t guy at heart so I think they ran some. Certainly could be wrong though.

One point that needs to be made, is that up until 2012, no team in Ky to my knowledge had won state running the Tony Franklin stuff...they've gotten deep but haven't won it. Now since then, it may gave changed, I haven't done research since then. But most schools that win in November can run the ball if they so choose to.

Again, the "Spread" is not an offensive scheme. The air raid is a scheme, the west coast offense is a scheme, run and gun is a scheme, wing t, etc. They can be ran from the spread or from under center. There's a difference. Spread simply means that we're in shotty and have receivers spread out.
