  1. Don't have to buy it, but that doesn't mean it's not on the shelf. It's what it is. If you have an opening and you want to play, you'll play. If you don't, you won't.
  2. The truth isn't usually in the middle when it comes to scheduling. If there is an opening you either want to play against a team or you don't. And the history of volunteering to play really hard teams speaks for itself.
  3. No. You are not wrong about that. And it’s even worse than most people know. Like I said talk to some who have been really connected to the program off the record. You’ll get some interesting comments if they trust you.
  4. It’s a poll. It is what it is. Quite frankly this one doesn’t make much sense. It’s just too bad some people don’t look at schedules and take them for what they mean.
  5. "The right way", not sure some of the folks connected to Greenwood would say the same thing. If you can talk to some of the people connected to Greenwood's program for a while and talk to them off the record, you might get some interesting information.
  6. What’s interesting here is South Warren has been way better than Greenwood ever has been. And South has reached levels Greenwood couldn’t ever have hoped for. Greenwood never came close in 25 years or whatever before South even existed. Some interesting factors there.
  7. Great research! The 1996 game was a complete mud bowl. It was almost record breaking rain for a couple of hours up to game time. Could barely walk without falling. I believe Greenwood led 21-0 at one point before melting down. But it wouldn’t have any long-term impact. BG is 33-0 for a reason and it’s not because of head games. It’s because of the talent and program gap. Geenwood has never been nor is on BG’s level.
  8. Great breakdown. It’s just too big of a talent and program gap. There’s a reason why Greenwood gets blowout in the first and third quarters most of the time.
  9. I’m amazed at the number of people who can’t breakdown schedules to figure out who has quality win/ losses compared to those who just have wins.
  10. Exactly. Someone got some bad information. Anybody that has been watching this year would know if Greenwood has trouble scoring then it will be a running clock.
  11. Good question. Hopefully Trinity didn’t do anything. And if anything they might think about counter suing for the bad publicity.
  12. Greenwood hasn't seen an offense half as good as this BG's offense this year. And even though BG's defense has struggled, it's still going to be the best defense Greenwood has faced this year.
  13. That game was really not close. And no point did Greenwood have a chance to win.
  14. But they haven’t been against BG. per Purple88 info BG is 33-0 and only two games in the entire time have been even remotely close. The Geenwood folks like to pump their chest when they have records like 6-1, but that’s where the schedule comes into play. BG wins no contest.
  15. No contest here. Greenwood did a lot smack talking last year expecting to win. They had a lot of former players go to the game, several that flew in from other states. Problem is they didn’t bother to look at the schedules. It wasn’t a contest then either. Same could said this year. Greenwood getting way too much love in the polls. They’ve played only one 5A or 6A school and we are 7 games into the season. That one school is two win Christian County. BG will roll in this one. Could be a little bit of a fall break hangover, but BG will win handily. BG 38 Greenwood 14.
  16. Wow. This is definitely a surprise for me to see.
  17. Oof. Looks like a BG loss and Fall Break hangover for South Warren.
  18. St X missing its Defensive Coordinator tonight??
  19. Wow. Simple run on the fake punt…….
  20. I’ve got the preshow on the the St. X YouTube channel. my prediction. St. X 27 Manual 10
  21. He put out a classy statement. Didn’t really give a reason. I would imagine it was a playing time thing.
  22. Oh okay. I didn’t see anything about that. None of that was mentioned.
  23. That’s the way I read it and understand it.
  24. Jacob put out a statement saying he’s going to redshirt and I believe will have two years of eligibility left. He did not graduate as far I know. I heard Matt Jones say on KSR today that Kentucky is a possible landing spot and they want him to go there.
