The amount of kids statewide wanting to grow up and be a Wildcat would far outnumber the ones wanting to be a Cadinal, Hilltopper and Colonel combined. I'm not sure many people on this board would disagree with that...moms and dads included.

Kids would rather play in/at CWS/UK more so than any other KY university venue...by a LARGE margin.

Since it's never been held at CWS in Lexington I'm not sure you can say that it wouldn't be the perfect spot. I can assure you that draw of UK is FAR GREATER than that of any of the other schools/stadiums in the state. And nightlife? I was unaware that this was for adults partying it up, my understanding it was for the kids?!?! But anyway, I'm sure you can find plenty of "nightlife" in Lexington and without question some great food options.

People seem to be forgetting the draw for kids wanting to play on the field at UK...just like at Rupp for the Sweet 16. If UK wants it, they should get to host it and let's see what attendance looks like at that point. I would anticipate it being a GREAT crowd.

If it leaves WKU...and that's a BIG "if", I'd say it'll be UK. I'd like to see it rotate every other year from BG to Lex.

WKU is fine and all but the vast majority of kids would want to play at UK. More to do. State university. Bigger venue. Bigger stage. WKU will due until 2019.

Does anyone know when the KHSAA bids out the football title games site again? What are the chances of it moving to Lexington/UK since Commonwealth Stadium made the switch to turf? Sorry if this has been discussed previously but I'm new and would personally like to see it move to UK and allow these kids to play on the biggest stage possible. TIA
