This is our home opener after being on the road the first 3 weeks. Beating Mayfield at home is a tough task. If memory serves me correctly we have not been beaten at home since the 07 08 season. Maybe someone could back that up for me. McCracken has the horses to give us our first loss at home in a long time but I think we prevail and come out with the W! I predict 42-14 Redbirds!

Compare scores against Tilghman and it's a no-doubt Mayfield win. But I'll say it goes down to the wire for the third straight year: McCracken 27-24.

I think it will be a close game and do not believe that you can draw much from the PT comparisons. MF in a close one

Cards still need to cut down on some of these silly penalties, and I can't imagine another week with 3 turnovers deep in their own territory. Should be a great crowd for the home opener, considering the last 2 games between these two. 2014 game was the most points Mayfield gave up in a game, so the Mustangs will score, but not nearly enough. 41 - 28, the home winning streak continues.

Question, has any other team came as close as McCracken did 2 years ago to ending the streak? Maybe the Beachwood game in the playoffs a few years back??

Last home loss for cards was Caldwell in 2008...they also lost to Crittenden at home that year...as well as on the road in the playoffs. I believe the Caldwell game was 35-7

I agree with toothpick. Can't base it off of the Tilghman game results. McCracken has too many athletes and too much size to not give us concern. Mayfield in a close one at home. 31-28

McCracken cant keep Mayfield from the endzone. They give Mayfield a good game but when the dust settles............35-20 Mayfield.
