Score wasn't even close as it indicates. It was 43-7 with 2:36 to go in the 1st half. Once the running clock started Boyle County put in the subs and let off the gas big time. @PurplePride92 said it best, total domination!

Some stats from the game. I think it was a game.

BC

Plays 38

Total yards 359

Rushing 23 - 140 yards 4 TDS

Passing 10-15 219 yards 2 TDs (Robbins 10/13 219 yards 2 TDs passing and 2 rushing)

1st downs 7

3rd downs 3/8

4th downs 1/1

Red Zone 3/3

Penalties 4-35

AC

Plays 46

Total yards 209 (69 yards at half)

Rushing 22 - 35 1 TD

Passing 9/24 174 yards 2 TDs (140 yards in second half) against BC 2 team

1st downs 7

3rd downs 1/8

4th downs 1/3

Red Zones 3/3

Penalties 1-10

Boyle pretty much played 2 team all 2nd half and Anderson kept in their 1st team the whole 2nd half.

Boyle goes to 4-0 with wins over top 10 teams in Class 6, 5, 3, and 2.

Pretty impressive resume thus far.

Leave. No. Doubt.

Nice job Rebels

Robbins did not step foot on the field in second half all of his damage was done in 1st half including a 57 yard touchdown run.

If there is a better team in 3A than the Rebels I can't wait to play'em.

They are clearly the best so far

The scary thing though is there are about 6 other really good teams as well.

At this point Botle has left no doubt though they are the primary delegate for the class though.

I agree that they totally dominated Anderson Co.

With that said, should Boyle be playing up in class as Highlands is?

Why?

3A is tougher than 4A and 5A this year!

Play the Scott Co.'s, Trinity's, Elder's etc. Challenge yourself with the best as Highlands does.

I think if you are clearly that much better than your class, it does nothing to grow you as a player and a team to play these types of games every week. No adversity, no challenge.

The only way they could play up in another class that is not as strong as 3A is to play in 6A.

To be honest with I'm not so sure Boyle County realized they were going to be that much better than everyone they played with the exception of Central Hardin. I predicted some close games but they put a running clock on three straight ranked opponents. Scary thing is Boyle County continues to get better.

I do get your point but Chuck Smith knows what he's doing. He made a schedule he thought was most appropriate. It just happens that this team really clicks.

The running game is getting better every week, Swanner is such a strong powerful runner, he usually delivers the blow, and if Robbins and Brown turn the corner, they are usually standing in the endzone.
