I find myself watching more Kobe and the Lakers this year then I have in all of his previous years combined. I was never a Kobe fan largely due to people arguing that he was better than MJ and nobody is better than MJ in my book. The bright side to this could be that me wanting to watch one of the best of all time in his last games has made me more of an NBA fan again. For years I just thought of the NBA as the no defense league and couldn't get into watching the games. This year watching Kobe and the Lakers has really made me realize how good these guys are. Making a one dribble pull up 20 foot jumper with a hand in your face look routine is really impressive to me. I guess what I'm getting at is that I'm going to miss Kobe in the NBA but on the other end of the spectrum his retirement caused the NBA to gain another viewer and follower. So in a bass ackwards way...thanks Kobe!

Based on this list you could say D3=Good NAIA and D2=Bad NAIA. LOL! Are the D2 teams in KY that bad or are the D3 teams that good?

The Hearald Leader article said renovations should hopefully start in 90-120 days. So 3-6 months. I'm thinking completion might be a stretch by the start of the 2016 season.

Chances are if EKU moves up then they would probably be in the MAC which has a neutral site title game or they would be in the Sun Belt which does not have a title game. IF and only if they move up the scheduling issue would be non existent for at least a few years. Like you said if they stay in the FCS then it's no different than playing at WKU.

That's why I asked the question in my first comment. "Is EKU a viable option to host?" For purely selfish reasons I would love for it to be at EKU but Eastern presents challenges of its own. I had mentioned earlier if EKU can get into the FBS by the time the next bids roll around it will help their case. Most likely they would end up in the MAC or sun belt. The sun belt does not have a conf championship and the MAC plays at a neutral site. If EKU remains in the FCS....they may not be a much better option than WKU.

In all seriousness their QB had a great year. Does their O-Line return a lot? On the Highlight reel for the RB it looked like the OL was really good. If so then I look for SK to be right back in the hunt in 6A for NKY.
