Boyle looked better than I thought they would. Even with a L I feel better about this season than I did when I woke up this morning. It was a heck of a game to watch. Worth every minute of sitting in the rain.
9th or 10th penalty on Boyle in this half. 5 or 6 false starts, 2 holdings, a pass interference and personal Foul. An encroachment penalty as I'm typing this. It's the first game but wow that's a lot of free yards.
LC moved the ball well offensively with a nice run/pass balance. Boone has a real nice RB in Cahill (sp?). He had 200+ yards rushing plus another good amount in receiving/return yards. LC was exposed in the run game giving up some long runs but Boone was one dimensional and didn't have much of a passing game other than screen plays so LC was able to load up on the run and take control of the game.
It was a tight game until about halfway through the 3rd and LC started to pull away. The game wasn't fully put away until about 3-4 min left in the game. Much closer game than the score shows.
Garrard's success is going to come down to how healthy they can be by the time district play rolls around. Their size up front and Foleys ability aren't going to be a surprise to anyone in 3A. They are a team to watch that's for sure! I don't know if we can say sleeper but they have the potential to make some noise.
Enjoyed it once again. I want aware how prevalent recruiting is in high school sports. I was aware that successful teams attract transfers but was not aware that coaches do go out "looking" for players. As you know I agree with you totally on the transfer ordeal. Let them play!
To answer the the second half of your question, no. None of those apply. If you bought tickets then the next season in April the same seats are offered to you for renewal. You can opt to upgrade seats and pay more, downgrade seats for a lower price or stay right where you are.
