  1. I received mine today, very nice stuff. The cups will go right into my rotation and my wife already stole the lanyard. I intend on sporting my new shirt Friday night too.
  2. Are the Bruins still a solid favorite even with the rash of injuries they are dealing with?
  3. 7-Fairdale 5-Ballard 3-St X 2-North Oldham 1-Trinity North Oldham
  4. Monroe County physically dominated the Eagles in their shutout victory last season. The Falcons are a bit down and battling injures, I expect the Eagles to continue their strong season with a win.
  5. Glasgow has won three in a row but all three have been close. I have to go with the Scotties but would not be surprised to see the Raiders pull the minor upset.

  12. BluegrassPreps.com is giving you a chance to show off your football knowledge statewide! The BluegrassPreps Regional Contests give you chances to pick games in different parts of the state for prizes each week of the regular season. There will be five regional contests every week. You will have a chance to pick the winners in each region -- NKY, EKY, Lexington/Central KY, Louisville, and WKY. Each region will have five games to pick from each week. We pick the games, and you will pick the winner of each game, assigning your picks a point value of 7-5-3-2-1. The first tiebreaker is picking the team (of the ten teams in the contest) that scores the most points. You don't have to pick the highest scoring team, you just have to pick a team that scores more points than the team(s) picked by the member(s) you are tied with. The second tiebreaker is time. This is a season long contest and you can enter in any or all regions that you wish. At the end of the regular season, the top two finishers in each region will compete during the playoffs for statewide bragging rights on Bluegrasspreps. If a contestant qualifies in more than one region, then the highest point total statewide from a non-qualifying contestant will advance as a Wild Card. The best part is, if you win a weekly contest, you will receive a quality prize. The deadline for all entries is Friday, September 14th, 2018 at 5:00pm EST. Be sure to post your winners and assign each of them one of the following point values (7-5-3-2-1) based on how strongly you feel that that team will win. Please note that if your selections are NOT in the specified format, your ENTIRE set of picks will be voided. 7 5 3 2 1 1st Tiebreaker 2nd Tiebreaker: Time of post. The games this week for the Louisville Area Regional contest are: Manual vs Ballard Central vs St. Xavier Bullitt Central vs North Oldham Fairdale vs Valley Trinity vs Naperville Central (IL) Be sure to pick ONE winner for each game and to indicate the point value. Remember, all entries must be posted by 5:00pm EST on Friday, September 14th. Good Luck!

  15. Ballard very easily could have beaten Boyle County as well. I don’t think this result necessarily indicates separation between Central and Boyle County.
  16. I would imagine Campbellsville was the most missed game. I gave the Eagles a fighting chance but didn’t have enough faith to choose them.

  19. Haven’t seen many of the above but can’t imagine many are better than Corley.
  20. 7-Shelby co 5-North Hardin 3-Trinity 2-Spencer Co 1-Collins TB-Shelby Co
  21. I have some friends in Crittenden County and I know how they feel about it. They are definitely little brother as between the two so I can understand the different perspective
  22. 7- Madison Central 5-Russell Co 3-Paris 2-Fairview 1- Garrard Co Garrard Co
  23. Campbellsville is riding high after embarrassing their crosstown rival. Eagles are led by sophomore QB Hash and do everything rb/wr Malachi Corley. They have several other very good players to supplement those guys as well.Barring injury, I look for the Eagles to claim their second consecutive regional title. Green is o-2 after losing to Washington co, being forced to forfeit their victory vs Caverna and having their game vs Berea canceled. Still plenty of time for the Dragons to regroup but with Campbellsville and Knox Central coming up, it will be hard to avoid an 0-4 start. The health of qb Dennis Rose, who went down with an injury in their opener vs Washington County, will be key to a possible Dragons turnaround
  24. Heated rivalry here, I know the Rockets would love beat Caldwell. Rockets havent won since ‘09 and the losses haven’t been competitive. This could be Crittenden’s best team in a while and Caldwell may have taken a step back this year. Maybe, just maybe they pull it off this year
  25. 7-Russell Co 5-Glasgow 3-Metcalfe 2-Stewart Co 1-Gibson Southern Gibson Southern
