A good coach will take good players and win. A coach that wins the big ones does so with good players and teaches the game to them so they know what to do in certain games. He corrects their mistakes by not letting them make them over and over. He teaches them not only how to shoot but when to shoot and not shoot. He learns how to control a game and must teach this to his players. Look how many close games Corbin lost this year. Did Corbin ever learn anything from them? I think not or Corbin would have won last night. Will next year be any better, only time will tell.

Bubby, So was Tubby Smith. Tony is a good person. But he should be winning more. He beat South without Josh and has lost to them three times with Josh. Josh is not the problem you have got to correct kids on what a good shot is and what a bad shot is. When you let it go on all year you can not expect the kids to know any different if they are not corrected. In the district and region there were way to many bad shots taken when you have got the lead and the ball. Soph. become Juniors and I open someone does some teaching about how to take care of the ball.

Bubby one problem with what you said. South is in the 13th now and that is the way it will be. We never seam to learn from past games on how to win. The coaches have got to take care of this. He also had the best team in the region in 2002 and 2003 and did not win the region then and there was no South then. He has two more good teams then hold on it will be a few years after that.

If I am up 14 with 6 to go I pull the other team out of the zone and make them guard me one on one when my team is quicker. The key is to win not by how much to get a monkey off of my back.

This is twice that Corbin should have beat South. When you are up by 13 in the 4th. There is no way you should get beat. When you do not know the difference between a good shot and a bad shot your not going to win the big games. But when you have kids that you let take bad shots all year it is not the kids fault. It goes back to leadership period.

Corbin has never won the region except when 12th region officials have been calling. The year Hicks won 12th, the two that Deaton won 12th, and the one that Pietrowski won 12th. South wins the game.

Jack Cubb & Mike Maxie were the two best ever in the 13th. Then and now.

If it comes down to coaching I would go with South. Roscoe does not get enough credit. I think it will come down to how Cashen plays and how Corbin takes care of the ball. If Cashen does enough of the little things Corbin wins. The kid is a winner and will lead Corbin to this win.

I heard that Clint was waiting to see about his offers with baseball. Baseball is his best sport.

Be nice to see the Corbin people get behind Lynn Camp a little. Be nice to see the Varsity Club invite Lynn Camp to next years C.F.I.T. show a little love.

Corbin has never beat Clay with Ref. from the 14th. or 15th. Clay by 3.

The first game tonight starts at 6:00 P.M. Reason the three point and dunk contest is tonight between games.

The best is the 5th/3rd. The next best is the Cumberland Falls Inv. for teams and the way it is run. The Varsity Club does a great job.

Coach Farris at Corbin has done great job for years.

The team from Ny is supposed to be loaded. They are only about 5 miles from the Bronx area of New York City. Union has two kids 6'8" and 6'6" and guard that moved in from Indiana. Mt Zion has back their top eight kids. I am like you I do not know if there is a good draw. If Crawford can not play it want matter who Corbin plays.

From Corbin it depends who you talk to but my number one would be Greg Taylor and number two would be Roger Bird. Everyone else would be behind these two.
