Final

Corbin hits 21 of 30 field goals in the second half and out scored Knox Central 54-33 for the win.

So much for defense?

Corbin is a team that is extremely dangerous when they get hot, and it sounds like they got hot the 2nd half.

Great game Redhounds! Lets bring down the Region!

Congrats Corbin!

I look for South to win the Region but we will see here in a few minutes

Hounds will take it!

I think Corbin will be the region champs, I do think South will be in the championship game, But I believe the redhounds will be out for revenge!

Little ole Isaac Wilson carried the team on his shoulders in the first half.

Man, he looked like a race car going to the basket.

Once Corbin got the lead, it was over.

Both teams really had some kids step up and play well in this game. Wilson kept Corbin in the game in the first half, Lee Crawford hit a big three and Barley had a couple of key baskets as well when the Hounds top three scorers wre out of the game. Then in the second half, Johnson hits three consecutive threes and scored I believe 20 in the 2nd half. Josh Crawford and Josh Smith really made their presence felt in the 4th quarter after being in foul trouble the entire game, both hitting some huge shots and Manns started controlling the boards. Cashen did all of the usual dirty work that helps teams win games.

Williamson played great for Knox on the inside and got Corbin into some foul trouble with his strong play in the paint. Messer displayed an all-around game that I did not know he had and these two carried KC when Miller was out of the game.

Wow ... you can't say enough about Wilson tonight -- he truly deserved the player of the game award, which he received. Elam got on his team for letting him drive in so many times. Smallest kid on the court tonight with the biggest heart and effort. Congratulations, Corbin. I hope they'll have something left for the Cardinals tomorrow.

The pace of the game that Wilson set offensively may have helped to tire the Panthers as well, they seemed to run out of gas late in the game.

Agreed.

The Blur (Wilson) was the difference tonight, IMO his one man fast breaks to the basket wore down KC, and in the second Johnson surely went off, I felt KC played their hearts out but got tired in the 4th, Corbin had to much depth for KC to subtain their great play of the first half. Great crowd and a good job by both teams and coaches. I don't think Miller was 100% he seemed to be sick or something, coughing alot etc... he and Johnson have to be two of the best soph. in the state.
