Corbin needs to slow down Hobbs who had a huge game in the earlier contest while Clay must come up with a plan to contain Josh Crawford. Corbin must also keep the Roberts kid form getting open looks for 3's, he hit 7 against Jackson Co.

A couple of opinions and a recent article may have reversed the curse of the 14th for the Hounds. Only time will Tell.

Corbin is the better team but the better team doesn't always win. Corbin must assert Josh Crawford in the post. They need not rely on ill advised 3 pointers by Johnson. He's a fine player but can shoot you out of a game. If he is hitting from deep, watch out. However, Corbin needs to hit the boards hard and work for the high percentage shots. Hopefully the Hounds can make their free throws tonight as well and advance.

 

I'd love to see Corbin and Cumberland win so we can see the matchup everyone has wanted to see all year between the two teams that everyone expected to top the region.

If ANY of our team gets hot with threes tonight you may have to turn the lights out on the Tigers season. We have several kids that can step up and play and I fully believe they will have fire in their bellies tonight. GO HOUNDS!!

I know that Billy Hicks had his problems with the 14th & 15th regional refs back in the day, but Clay Co. had some good teams that had a lot to do with putting the Hounds out.

 

The officials that did the region last year did a good job overall, were they from the 14th or the 15th?
