  1. Stuff like that happens quite often to opposing teams in the Igloo.
  2. Most people saw it that way, however a select few saw it as a well officiated game.
  3. I'm sure the Camels will be fired up and ready for some revenge come Monday night. After all, they did get the short end of the stick that night in Brooksville.
  4. The video I saw seemed as if the foul was before he got in the shooting motion, but I wasn't the one to make that statement so I'm not sure what they were referring to.
  5. Not sure Free would've made much of a difference. Like I said, saw Harrison play Robertson last Friday and was not impressed at all. Knew this would be an easy first round game for whomever was lucky enough to draw them, the Polar Bears just happened to be the lucky team.
  6. Things seem to be going their ways since that district championship game thats for sure. Hate that for Free and the Thorobreds.
  7. Lady Cardinals and the Lady Jackets battle for the 1st spot in the 10th Region Championship game at 6:00 Friday night in Cynthiana. GRC handled a very good Scott team in the 1st round winning 64-52, while Nicholas County struggled with Bracken County in their first round game escaping with a 59-56 win. These two teams last met December 5th in Carlisle with GRC winning 62-44. Who clinches the first spot in the Championship game and why?
  8. Understandable, but I hope Campbell isn't over looking GRC like most people on here are. GRC can win this game.
  9. Didn't Mason run rule Bracken a couple times last year? I know they lost a lot to graduation, but IMO Nick Nelson is a much better pitcher than Darren Williams was.
  10. Alright, I've thought about it.. My heart says Royals, my head says Scott. BUT..... I'm going with the upset. I wouldn't put money on it, but I think the Royals have enough in the tank to pull it off if they play well, if not it'll be ugly. Royals 75- Eagles 74.
  11. Lady Royals and Lady Camels clash in the semifinal of the 10th Region tournament at 7:30 at Harrison County High School. Mason County is coming off a 72-26 routing of the Harrison Co Lady Thorobreds in the 1st round, while Campbell County hit a game winner to escape Bourbon County in their first round matchup. These teams previously met January 28th at the Fieldhouse with the Lady Royals wining 51-44. Who advances to face GRC/Nicholas County in the finals on Saturday night?
  12. Thought we were talking about parents coaching their children, my mistake.
  13. Father Daughter at Lewis County with Jay and Jaycey Fite.
  14. I don't believe so, I'm sure @sumoroyal would know.
  15. Best High School Atmosphere is a packed Fieldhouse for the 10th Region Finals. End of discussion.
  16. Paris/Campbell final draws big crowd because: A- The Paris fan base wouldn't want to miss this moment for anything. B- The two best teams going at it in the finals draws the attention of fans from other schools and is an intriguing matchup.
  17. Not at all, Robbie Graham is a fantastic coach and if my kid wanted to play for him I'd do my best to make it happen.
  18. The biggest crowds IMO are when the Royals are in the Championship game, regardless of location. But having two NKY schools in the finals kills the attendance, proved that in 2015 I believe.
  19. Kinda sounds like the Scott Co boys team to me. Oh well, it is what it is. :idunno:
  20. This might open a can of worms, but where do GRC get these girls from? Anytime it looks like they might have a down year they get transfers.
  21. I agree, I think with Robertson they were talking about splitting it up and sending students to Mason/Bracken/Harrison/ and Nicholas, depending upon where you live in the County.
