So that just means if they play another school, regardless of the state, they have to be a member of their state assoc. Meaning they couldn't travel their and play a prep school because they are not part of a state HS assoc. But Oak Hill or any other high school team from wherever would be part of their HS state assoc and would be good to go. Am I reading this correctly?

I know other schools that use that site And they told me they don't post links to their pages because it's shows tendencies of their team. They stated when teams do this they compare it to videos they get from Hudl for that team and the plays they run to get those shots. I don't know if I believe that. BBallFan thoughts?

If you didn't know that's cool, based on LBs play by play against Boone Drew started the game with a 3 and added 2 more as the game went on. I'm also pretty sure his numbers on the Travelers for 3's was pretty good as well. But I agree, let this die and let's do this again in a couple months. All of the boys mentioned have the majority of their season to go and I wouldn't doubt another name not mentioned here ends up in the mix. . How about this Cats... :-)

Shooting - Check (Both solid shooters but I give consistency to Drew) Passing - Check Check (Goes along with the next one) Court Vision/IQ - Check Check (Drew sees the floor as good as most PG) Ability to push the floor - Both do in a different way. Ray is quicker and handles the ball better, but both are guys who run the floor well in fast breaks. Defensive - Again different. Ray is longer but Drew is stronger. Ray's affect on a game will keep guys from driving the lane where as Drew continue to bang. Based on my checks its 5 checks, and two draws. My opinion only.

I agree both Holy Cross and Cooper could very well make districts and regional interesting this year. With Dixie's two football guys back just give them some time to get back and get the gears greased and they will be a force.

How did Townsend handle the pressure? Do we see him a top player in the years to come? He is a sophomore correct?

Playing at the next level you are you are going to have to play through pain. Give a 100% when you're not actually at a 100% physically. My opinion, but I just don't see it.

From what it looks like from the outside is McDonald played very well in the EYBL while Spalding left the Travelers to play for the The Ville. Sounds is much in the same way as taking himself out of the 1st half of Covington Catholic. Like the kid but at this moment he doesn't have the needed fire to make in impact at UL. Then again, I'm positive Pitino will surely light that fire and it will be up to him to keep it from going out. Just looked at the KHSAA site, Trinity plays at NCC on 2/17 @ NCC. It will be a battle.

Wow, one hears it and then another. I heard that MLB the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation are involved in this. I don't know about anyone else but I love when professional organizations give back and it benefits the kids..

The varsity kids that maybe don't get enough minutes or JV kids that may not see any minutes. But agree, won't help either school in the end.

I could totally be wrong but I know both boys and have watch them play various times. Regardless what school one goes to, I look to the skill of player and sorry, McDonald beats him hands down. Spalding will always get the big dunks but (from what I saw) the size/strength of McDonald out weights ,pun intended , beats him ever time. Looking at the current roster of UL players, in his current size/strength, how will he compete for a position against the size/strength and overall toughness of UL's big-men roster. Before everyone jumps, I hope I'm wrong and when get gets to UL they bulk him up so that he just becomes a monster of a player I expect him to become.

On top of all that hes a good kid. I've watched him for a while now and the kid can just shoot. Jake's problem (not really a problem so much) is that he is really good a two sports (baseball & basketball) which limits the time dedicating working one craft or the other.. He will be fun to watch..
