It wouldn't be fair if I didn't point out that Cooper Theobald has been impressive in his first 4 games at the point.

He had some large shoes to fill with the exit of Nick Ruthsatz, and is taking care of those responsibilities quite confidently and productively.

I know other schools that use that site And they told me they don't post links to their pages because it's shows tendencies of their team. They stated when teams do this they compare it to videos they get from Hudl for that team and the plays they run to get those shots.

I don't know if I believe that. BBallFan thoughts?

Funny you should mention this. I've already had someone else bring it to my attention that they're not so sure that me starting this thread was a great idea.

To be perfectly honest, I did so just as a fun way to have a one stop shop to follow the Colonel's season and their stats.

Since they're my favorite team, I had no thought or intent whatsoever to sabotage them in any way. It never even occurred to me that posting stats would do that, and I'm in no way associated with the Cybersports site, and it's freely available to anyone. I've been following it for a few years now, and I was under the assumption that others were as well.

It's not even the only place to find stats as they also can be viewed at khsaa.org for every team in the state along with their roster and schedule.

I'm a bit baffled by the dissatisfaction of my honest attempt to provide an interesting link to stats that are already freely available to everyone with an internet connection on planet earth.

It's not like I hold a special key to the information, and now I'm offering it up to the North Koreans to take advantage of. If not for me, even Kim Jong-un still would've freely had access to them.

By comparison, go to Espn.com and every college basketball team's stats can freely be found there for their entire season.

I'm assuming that if the coaching staff for the Colonels really had any objection to their stats being freely available online, they would stop having all their games posted at the Cybersports site. I'm honestly not even sure how it came to be that their stats are available there while not many other teams locally have their stats posted there.

If it truly is a problem I will immediately cease and desist with no hesitation, but I'd like to be enlightened to just what it is that I'm providing that can't already be found by anyone interested in finding them.

It still boils down to execution.

If another coach wants to compare Cov Cath's shot chart & stats & video, more power to them. Sounds like a lot of effort that could be better served elsewhere, but that's just my opinion.

Interesting point, though.

I meant nothing nor implied you had any bad intent. It was just talked about and wanted to see what others thought.

I didn't take anything bad by what you had said. It had also been brought up to me by someone else. I was questioning what could possibly be the problem since the site is available to anyone and everyone. If my response sounded directed at you, that too was not my intent. I'm just a wordy guy who gets all thorough in my explanations. :lol2: I felt no hard feelings from your question.

Teams don't know that CVH is the first option?

Joe Fredrick has been raving about him since summer.

I liked what I saw in him at the JV level and am happy to see that he's now even much improved.

With his trim frame he has a way of swiftly slithering, sliding, gliding, and wiggling his way into any gap that he sees. Kid is dynamite and is everywhere all over the court.

He's exciting to watch, and I trust that as the season progresses he will too.

Not sure how he looks shooting the 3 as we've not yet seen many attempts from him. Would be nice if he could add that to his arsenal too. If not, still happy to see him running the point and finding Flood, Shumate, or CVH for a 3 here and there.
