Players like Sutton can put a team on their back. Perry and Spaulding no doubt will have the same impact in the regional. Unfortunately Eastern won't have that luxury...one eagle has left the nest.

Can you find a tougher region than the 7th? Talent- check. Quick teams- check. Tall teams- check. Superior coaching- check. Easy to get to venue....ummm not so much.

It makes teams that are not private schools in Louisville rusty as they are not allowed to practice when school has been cancelled. Those rules do not apply to Catholic schools in Jefferson County...talk about unfair advantages! I'm curious how other schools in the state handle practice when schools are closed. I look forward to your feedback.

If it works like an MVP vote you have to think Perry has already blown up. Ballard was supposed to be the fourth best team to come out of the 7th Region this year. They lost last years Mr. Kentucky basketball and the second runner-up in the voting. (Not to mention having two impact players who transferred). All Perry has done is lead them in scoring, become the teams second leading rebounder and lead the state in highlight dunks! Ballard is currently on an unbelievable winning streak... What else does this guy gotta do?

Two former Waggener guards going head to head. How does this happen? I give the edge to Central. Two motivational coaches but one who has to get it done now- Bibby.

I think next year will be pivotal for this junior. No doubt NCC is a tough team to defend with both him and McDonald. Next year he'll have to carry the load inside. Love to watch those two look for each other on offense!

Hoptown win was impressive. Last seven opponents average about 8 losses a piece. Central win was impressive also... You've split with them. Not buying it

Started at Durrett then went to Ballard then went to Waggener then went to Male then went to jeffersonville. Alright... 5 teams./

Hows it workin' out for that football coach at Male these days? Bob Redman has coached at 6 different schools- and counting. Sometimes coaches just opt for a change.

Makes perfect sense for Renner to go there. He has worked with the Male AD and with the new principal Jury. Ballard would love to get Schooler back...doubt that happens.

The trick now is for the FC coach to keep those freshmen happy for the next three years. When things like playing time and sacrifices made for the sake of the team come up the kids now simply transfer.

It only takes one good player who didn't go to a Catholic grade school to win big. Trinity has four starters who played basketball at Catholic middle schools. St. X has plenty of shooters... If they had a big they'd be a ton better.

Junior Jaalam Hill can flat out play! It's been fun to watch this kids progression. Other players on the team were hyped over him since he arrived at Waggener- those days are gone. He scored 32 last night and grabbed 14 rebounds.

Hard to leave off the schools number one scorer...Quinten Snyder. Lee Raker...where is he? If stats matter you better throw in Keelan Martin too. #3 scorer of all time.
