I witnessed Perry last night as did Roy Williams. He'd put up 40 on Cam Justice too. He is the real deal.

Anybody who puts up 25 pts. against Montverde then turns around the next day and scores at will against Seventh Woods...has my attention. Jalen Perry is the go to player on Ballards team...but he probably would be the go to guy on any team in Ky..

Chase Shellman will score plenty of points in this contest. If he had some help in the paint Desales would be much better. I see the Colts winning by 10 or more. Did anybody else see Shellman play in the Battle Of The Borders over the summer? He has a nice inside outside game.

The team really bought into the extra pass last night. Shots fell because most of them were open looks. They knocked down 12 3's and none of them were forced. They also had a ton of old fashion 3's. They seem to really look for each other as opposed to last years two man show.

Everybody talks about the two players that Ballard graduated last year who are now playing college ball. It's amazing to me that this bunch doesn't have three that have already signed. Jalen Perry has great lift and it's obvious that he's been working on his game this past summer. Anthony Eaves can fill it up from long range and is a better scorer than the two kids who transferred out. (Dow and Berry) Corey Douglas is a long body who will benefit from finally being healthy. Ballard has an assortment of role players who have been in the system and who looked more than ready to step up when the Bruins played Hoptown over the weekend. The bottom line is that Renner can coach- and his assistants have been with him for some time now. Look for a versatile bunch who will push the pace and look for each other more so than last years bunch. Should be a fun bunch to watch!
