Basketball season for 2014/2015 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Ballard . Remember, please be constructive.

Everybody talks about the two players that Ballard graduated last year who are now playing college ball. It's amazing to me that this bunch doesn't have three that have already signed. Jalen Perry has great lift and it's obvious that he's been working on his game this past summer. Anthony Eaves can fill it up from long range and is a better scorer than the two kids who transferred out. (Dow and Berry) Corey Douglas is a long body who will benefit from finally being healthy. Ballard has an assortment of role players who have been in the system and who looked more than ready to step up when the Bruins played Hoptown over the weekend. The bottom line is that Renner can coach- and his assistants have been with him for some time now. Look for a versatile bunch who will push the pace and look for each other more so than last years bunch. Should be a fun bunch to watch!

Sounds like you know the team really well

Thanks for sharing Griffster and welcome to BGP. Best of luck to the Bruins this season (as if they need it).

I watched the Hoptown scrimmage. Ballard won, but what stood out to me:

Eaves will help fill the scoring void left from last year.

Wilson is ok at the point, but he's really small. Clutch moments will probably see the ball in Eaves' hands.

Perry is the most athletic guy a lot of teams will face this year. But his handle and shot don't look like they've improved at all.

Most importantly, Ballard will be really bad on defense again this year.
