  1. Christian county has played absolutely no one and has moved up! Wow
  2. Uha had only 13 turnovers and Trey did have a quiet 17 points. There were at least four mid level D1 players on the court, the score should be higher plus a couple of jucos.
  3. They will learn not used to slowing the game down since elementary watching them play, they play fast or they get stagnate and give it away for the last 8 years of that groups life.
  4. Actually UHA had went turnovers and the best guard duo in the state Jalen Johnson with 33 and shorty 14 points respectively. Shorty got in foul trouble in 2nd and sat Jalen set out for 3rd quarter with injury and some of 4th or he would have had 40. Second day in a row where a Mr. Basketball candidate has been held by under 15 points. Four games in five days is tough for any team.

  6. Furthermore if you only have three high schools in a town of 35,000 people and all of them are ranked top fifteen in the state, colleges are over looking Hopkinsville, Ky because we ball down here!!!
  7. Dont know about 17u, but actually they were number in AAU in the nation according to AAU D! when they entered the tournament because they won it 2015! When they played in EYBL they lost a couple of kids to behavior issues they were not allowed to participate. My facts are right on, you can check the aau records. Secondly its derespectful to keep Hoptown off the list because we have two top 10 ten juniors shorty and Jalen. One top five sophomore james nicholas and one top twenty sophomore, with at least four more really solid contributors really solid pieces so if you can say two players can beat hoptown your dont know the region. Only lost one starter but still have six or seven that started most of last season. Maybe the strongest team they ever especially skill wise and close to atheletically also.
  8. Hoptown has added more height and a couple of additional shooters, you must be kidding McGowan best shooter in region. When the season start there will be some big surprises. Hoptown is truly 10 deep now. Essentially with four starters returning and a part time one, who will guard the ball.
  9. The best backcourt in the state is Hopkinsville's Jalen Johnson and Steve sshortly cager. Coming off a summer beating the number 1 team inthe nation "TEAM Penny" and no. 4 da house in nation AAU in which both teams were loaded with division one players. They play on both ends like dogs very few in the state does that!
  10. Hoptown has added some height and a couple of new pieces of shooting fire power. They are now ten deep there are going to be a terror on defensivem
  11. Definitely not but it was a team camp coached by their high school coaches and everyone had something to prove, I was at the Apollo game in Murray all three of their top dogs were there, county may have as far record but they have the 58th stregnth of schedule and Hopkinsville has 8th, beating two nationally ranked teams when everyone was healthy. Stay tuned the game is Jan. 30! You will see!
  12. Watching Wayne county on film there was a lot of home cooking. There were a lot of cheap shots given and refs were really biased towards Wayne county, hoptown has always played good defense but not got hit with elbows after whistle blowing, one kid from got punched while he was on the ground and the ref ignored it. The wayne co. coach yelling at the refs by name when they made a call he didnt like with no technicals. Hoptown sat arguably they best player for a disagreement between him and the coach and got him out of his game.
  13. Everyone can be undefeated if you load your schedules with no one in the top thirty in the state! They are all legit teams but a light schedule really helps.
  14. Christian county has played two ranked teams all year other than paducah and got blown out both games, but it good to see their on top. And Mercer has played no top twenty teams at all an ranked number one all three different rankings are not subjective. Hopkinsville has played five top ranked, three teams in their perspective state and two number one teams plus a nationally top twenty team and lost by six and the other by 2 points margins. They are 70-1 in regional play with all kids healthy as of today so we will see.
  15. Hoptown is almost healthy as of the tournament in Nashville, TN last week, they have played a loaded schedule (the toughest in the state with banged up football players starting) there is no doubt there will be another sweet 16 appearance. This time a finals appearance is inevitable!!
  16. Hoptown lost because they had three starters missing in Prp tourney! And it was only by two points perspectively, they have also played harder schedule than anyone team in the top twenty respectively facing five to six teams with two or three already signed high major D1's where most of the top twenty teams are playing teams with just on high major D1 player.
  17. Missing two starters hurt. They are also playing a brutal schedule
  18. Only one of those teams have played a top ten team at all. Hopkinsville has played three top ten teams and one national team. Some of these schedules are weak
  19. Hopkinsville will improve the football players have only had six practices and four of them are starters! The first two games Hopkinsville had blow outs so the second and third team strings played over half the game and they still won by an average of 50. Christian County is not the defense that teams should be worried about, while hoptown held the number 15 ranked team in the nation 30 points below their average.
  20. Madionsville has one solid player its amazing how they scored so many points!
  21. Hopkinsville is number 1 then Taylor and then Dunbar, Bowling Green, Bullitt East, Christian County in that order !
  22. Stephen "shorty" cager has to be in there from Hopkinsville, he is aruguably the best player in the whole region.
