  1. Hoptown was missing four starters, three of which are high major D1 and one mid major basketball player. They basically had the Jv team out there by the way they won one quarter. The one starter that played had 18, after been shredded in football game the night before. They also beat Louisville Central this summer by 18 with both of them having all their players. They are most assuredly top five in state beating Apollo by 37 in the summer with Elli Wright (Up for Mr. Basketball Kentucky), Ben Moss and Trey, which help lead them to decide transfer to a prep school, all three were top five in their class in Kentucky. Hoptown has four top three top 20 players in their perspective classes and two top five only in Kentucky.
  2. I have watched stephen cager sophomore shooting guard from hopkinsville, ky shred three of those guys in your top ten.
  3. Hoptown will go again you must not know the talent pool in Hopkinsville, purple pride I screen shot your comment for march of 2016, you will surely see.
  4. Hoptown looses 7 seniors every year and the still manage to come out on top. No one gives Hayworth credit he is doing a great job, this will be hoptowns best team by far in the past four years of winning the region. Never had four d1 players in hopkinsville on one team since uha in when barnes, swanagan, victor and buckner was there. The Drive for Five is Alive! Go tigers!!
  5. Cchs doesnt have the kind of kids that hoptown has, they have also added a 6 9 kid that is steady getting better. Not to mention the best back court in the state jalen johnson and steven cager, (now that taylor county split) in addition two sharp shooters courtney ware and cj heningan top ten player in his class. A lock down defender don parker comin off bench. Hhs will show and prove again. The Drive for Five is Alive!
  6. He is definitely could play in the ovc and do quite well, with more skill development he could possibly be high major. Has a major motor, great work ethic on both ends and edge you can teach. I have seen him on more than one occasion destroy d1 talent over the last couple of years.
  7. Definitely not year ending, because a lot of the teams did not make it to state. ie.. Henderson, Ky.
  8. Kids a straight monster, be on the lookout for this young kid with a d1 body and top player in his class.
  9. Hayworth get a bad wrap for the coach with the highest winning percentage in regional history or for that reason mabybe Kentucky history. Hoptown has helped UHA players and county players get in college and they have actually had two d1 players Jordan Majors and Trey Edwards. They come to open gyms looking for help after the senior year is over. Hoptown also has placed 18 out of 20 players in college. The bench players are going Ky weslyan where county and UHA starters are going, if they qualify for d1 they will go from hoptown. Look for the best season ever from hoptown this year 2015-2016.
  10. I watched Hopkinsville new improved team beat them by 37 points while missing a couple of players and Apollo had all their players there, with hoptowns super sophomores, Jalen Johnson and Steven Cager both go for 25 on them. Apollo may be a little overrated.
  11. Hopkinsville is as deep as they have ever been and they have at least four shooter in opposed to having one for the last three years in which they won their region to make an appearance in the sweet sixteen, they are poised to go deep in this sweet sixteen.
  12. Hopkinsville is the number two team in the state of KY hands down, they beat number three team in the state Doss by 17 without two starters and lost two the number 2 ballard in the state without two starters. People better be on the lookout for this team Qwalis has more weapons on this team than ever before.
  13. They are eligible you can see them all in action Tuesday at Hoptown high school at Greenwood. Ledonald Gray, Aj Tyler and Jordan Garrett this team will be better than hoptown has ever had including captain qualis Matlcok, sophomore cj henigan, and outstanding freshman jalen johnson and steven cager.
  14. Terell he is their best player and he play football Doss who is their best player, hoptown was missing two starters. The last transfer just became eligible for their first game Tuesday. They actually a total of ten play sets, transition was a part of the game since it was a pretty uneven match.
  15. He definitely did not play nor did the starting point guard, Ledonald average twenty points a game for almost two years. He will make Hopkinsville a total different looking team. He has not even practiced, he will start Monday and play first game Tuesday.
