Final from MC Hoopfest.

Hopkinsville had it's chances to defeat this nationally ranked team, but didn't shoot so well from the field.

Kourtney Ware from Hoptown making some noise. Could be a top 5 player in region 2.

Ware was shooting lights out. J.O. Johnson had a little more size and talent but was a pretty good game. Hopkinsville is good.

Ware was fantastic in the first half with 19 points and 5 3s. Behind those points Hopkinsville was in front for a lot of the game, but he cooled off in the second half and the Tigers just couldn't make enough plays to hold on.

Hopkinsville clearly has talent. They still have some growing to do, but I think they'll be fun to follow this year.

Ware also fouled out half way through the 4th. They definitely have some growing to do, but I think they are/will be the best Hoptown team since their final four run.

Need to work on the foul shots if they want to go back to Rupp. Also will need to learn to run some plays as the run and gun is over in this region as Smith knows how to c oach against the push it offense

Hopkinsville will improve the football players have only had six practices and four of them are starters! The first two games Hopkinsville had blow outs so the second and third team strings played over half the game and they still won by an average of 50. Christian County is not the defense that teams should be worried about, while hoptown held the number 15 ranked team in the nation 30 points below their average.

Not sure where you got your numbers and I am not being negative about Hop or their defense but JO Johnson is averaging 71.7 for the year for far so they actually held them to 3 points below their avg. Again not taking away from their performance at all, and them only having the footballers back for this little time says a great deal about how good they are and even better how good they are going to be.
