Oldham at home in this one. Anderson has to develop a bench. Not very good right now and will start the year 0-3. Oldham will win a lot of games during the season however IMO they will not be a region contender. They seem to always fold when it is time to play in the Roy.

Collins is just as good on grass. How has FS field held up during the season?

LOL, just messing with you all. Last time down, Collins close defeat, a member of your chain gang had a radio on his hip cause he did something with the school. I think he also had a son playing in the secondary. He would walk up and down the Collins sideline and then yell instructions to his son. I will say that he was smart enough not to yell from the box and he had no clue what play Collins was going to run. He took a lot of abuse and gave it back to the Collins faithful who stood behind the fence. Should be a great night of football. Do you know what time KO will be? 7:30 CST or will they bump it up some?

Collins has been running more than throwing but they do come at you in a variety of ways. I have been more impressed with their D. Might add that they have a great kicking game. So tell me, does FS still have the chain gang with 2-way radios on the sidelines barking instructions to their players?

Collins rushing 204 yards, Eades had about a 60 yarder on second or 3rd play of game, and 28 passing yards. JR only attempted 8 completed 5 with 2 TD SC rushed for 157, passed for 112, SC had a 70+- yard td. Shelby controlled the game except in turnovers and where it counted, the scoreboard up until the safety. SC lost QB at halftime but that didn't make a difference in the how this came would have come out. Collins is a heck of a football team and expect to see them playing in Lexington.

Collins D has really stepped up toward the end of the season. They are giving up like 7 PPG over the last 7 games. Their run game has been has been very impressive. Mercer is finally at the point that I had them preseason. Thought all year this would be a matchup of 2 top 5 teams in 4A. I do not see this as a high scoring game. Collins by 10

Great work as always Mike!!! IMO your top 2 will not win the region. Winner will come from Collins, Anderson and Simon Kenton. I’m really not sure Drury and staff can win it without a lucky shot. Cobe is POY.

Collins will either go spread, QB option and they have put in reverse wishbone out of the pistol. Shelby will run the triple option. Shelby has a chance but must win turnover battle and not give up Long pass plays. Collins just needs to be Collins and take care of business. Could be a great game

That was last year while regular kicker was coming back from injury. This game will be all about SC tornovers. They can’t afford to beat themselves.

Collins used 3 Shelby TO’s in 2nd qt to outscore SC 28-0. Shelby won the other 3 qts 19-10. Collins JR Lucas was 6-10 4 TD’s. Passing. Shelby played with a couple of banged up running backs. Should be a great one

This game appears to me that it will be The wishbone against the triple option. Should be a quick one with both teams running the football. Look for Shelby 28-20 Guess it is better to drive hour half to cambellsville rather than 20 minutes to Louisville

I am going with who is hot and looking at entire year, Collins lost to Boyle and at Ballard. Beat 2 of Waynes opponents more than they did. Wayne lost 2 Boyle but played no one else close to Ballard. JC has lost 2 in a row. You are dropping in rankings in my book. Ashland loss don't look good to me. Big Win over JC. Without that, might not be top 5 IMO. FS, E-town, S. Warren and Meade. 5-0 playing great. Promise you ashlad would have lost those 3.

Have had to broadcast outside before more than one place. Did Collins have both radio crews there that night? How about at North Bullitt where they wanted to charge $400 to let visiting team broadcast.

Haven’t heard much out of district 5 all year. Thought Mercer would be better but think they are still dangerous. Look for district 4 to win 3 games.

Couple of names to watch during the year is Feltner and Fort from Collins. Listed McNight and Collins 4th. Should be #2 in my book. 2 of the 3 of AC, MCL and Simon Kenton will be playing regional finals or at least one of these 3 will be going to Rupp. What is sad is the downfall of Shelby Co. Basketball. TJ Robinson should be one heck of a player in 8th.

All of HM and would be a game with the bottom 4 in ranking.
