  1. I’m a huge homer, but I think JC, Boyle, and Corbin are at the top, but everyone else has to prove they are consistent contenders.
  2. Woodford really feels like they belong in the 5a conversation... they have alot of talent I am hearing.. I take them in a shootout.
  3. Interesting times in Franklin County... to be mentioned in games like this with a chance!! I am rooting for the Flyer boys to get after it, and use this game as preparation for later in the season. I would give Scott county the edge right now with all the experience in the backfield and years of playing in 5A and 6A.
  4. This will be a bad night for Station.. They are not close to the team Douglas is.
  5. Boyle will kill Dunbar, they are not very good..
  6. Central will be tough, and Williams is great! Not sure which side of ball he excels at best though?
  7. Gotcha didn’t know it was senior only. Thanks for the info! Lol
  8. Watching Moorman last night, at Franklin I would say he works into being on the watch list. Not sure if FC will run it enough to please voters, but talent is there.
  9. Word is, Wise met with players and stepped down.
  10. How did GRC do at the scrimmage? How did all the kids, from Frankfort do in the scrimmage ?
  11. Four teams all got after Franklin, Manual, Conner, Dunbar. Short Franklin County mixed it up well, and seemed to play alot of kids. Conner had a really nice qb, made a lot of plays, I was not impressed with their skill athletes as the last time they visited Frankfort. Manual has some big boys, didn’t see their star RB, was hoping to see him in action. Dunbar spread the ball around and had its moments on defense.
  12. Be interesting to see the khsaa on this one it’s been so public.
  13. Simon Kenton had a nice qb in 7 on 7 this weekend, but I did not see athletes many other places..
  14. I agree sounds like a mess, and to be honest anything but good, or legitimately good for kids…. But hey, let’s see how it unfolds.
  15. Tonight it was LCA, and Tate’s creek, FC, and West Jess. Short session but good work.
  16. Jayden Mattison took most the reps for the Flyers. He has been the back up last two years and has a few wins under his belt, also has started safety and linebacker since he was a freshman.
  17. Yes, they were. Not very memorable however. Don’t they have two kids with offers?
  18. Some good action. FCHS and LCA Flat get after it. Some good athletes on display for all teams.
  19. Back on topic, I just don’t think Mercer can win the big one… however I do see them knocking off Cal or Desales, possibly both…. But I don’t see them winning against them twice… so they could be hanging around at the end of the year depending how those series unfold.
  20. I agree in all accounts. But being close to the program I see the level at which people are working at FC. So I feel like there is a chance! But yes, u don’t beat who they beat late in the year often…. Time will tell! Go Flyers…
  21. What makes you think they missed their chance ? Explain ?
  22. I don’t think they return that many? But I’m unsure, they had a ton of two way guys last year. Won’t matter they will line up and smash you, and I hear they got a ton of young talent coming in from an area youth program. Flyers will need to beat them twice to steak a claim in the top of the state. The early games FC has will be a good test or a wake up call? Time will tell!
