FLYGUY

To me Central is a bigger threat than Lexington Catholic. Central and Franklin games have went 50/50 over the last two seasons. LC doesn’t play the type of defense the other teams are playing, and they lost their OC.

Flyers will be a tough out. It will be interesting how they replace Broyles. They have a few additions and some young talent that was already there is coming of age. If they can finish the deal remains to be seen. Flyers usually play best around the end of year, so the Corbin game is going to be interesting.

Toledo, via Twitter.

University of Wisconsin, today after camp. weighed in at 205 ran a 4.6 40yd.

Thought the same! Taking shots at the county schools! Gotta love the rivalry.

Looks like they don’t want turf!

I wasn't taking shots at the Frankfort staff. However I'd invite you to call Coach James, and come see the FCHS staff, in action.... you will see what I am talking about its different. This Super, and the board in place now, really value athletics. Western Hills also has a new weight room, turf, and several upgrades in track and other sports going on as well.

Thanks for the kind words. I got some FC gear for you anytime you need it! What I see from FCHS is they go above and beyond for their kids off the field. That staff makes sure each kid has the support they need to flourish. FCHS has tried to give the kids the best for years, but the community, school have finally offered to match some of their efforts making for some great strides!

Franklin County has worked hard on fundraising to make some major upgrades to their facilities. Turf last year, and the weight room this year, track and surrounding areas in the next year. Hope this excitement continues to grow! Kids looked strong at the liftathon today! IMG_5206.mov

Good luck to all!

Youth league... well. Good luck to the new coach.

Where has this guy coached?

Was shocked from what I had been hearing that he wasn't drafted...

7 on 7 not with your team, is a sham! Consider yourself lucky your players are not wasting their time!

I’ll be interested to see how this works out, training all sports, is going to be a challenge.

No one said he did, but all the doomsday scenarios with the program at Danville’s suggest that kids will just all stay home. I don’t see that happening, or the old coach allowing it.

What are the NCAA implications?

Yes I did, and enjoyed a good chuckle.

If Clevenger is the guy he is said to be, then he will encourage those kids to play football and buy in to the new coach, regardless of how he feels about the Admin. Those kids only get four years of ball. Adults shouldn’t lay their burdens in the kids.

Oh my this can’t be good.

Cant make everyone happy, just got to be happy for the ones who are recognized.

Congrats to the Four Flyers. Farrier and Peiffer on first team, Claudio (who is a DB not a LB) and Broyles for Honorable mention. So glad to see us recognized. To me our Coach should have been in running for COY.

Lunch Ladies?

This team had really been inconsistent down the stretch for the Flyers. Still a great season by most standards.

Seems like success is on the way here !
