You're exactly right. If #21 and #3 can become consistent perimeter scorers along with #33 they could be very dangerous. They all can shoot the ball very well, it is just putting it into a game. Their defense is solid at time, but still break down. Hopefully with it being the 3rd year under Latham they have learned the new system enough to be more successful. I think the season depends on the offense (like you said) being able to score consistently. They need to average at least in the mid 50's to be competitive in all their games. The last two years they have averaged in the 40's!!

Everybody that thinks Corbin is going to run the ball all night is wrong. Lets not forget that Corbin has thrown for 550 yards in 3 games. Danville seems to give up a lot in the passing game so far! Giving up 673 yards in 3 games. That's a lot!! We'll see how it goes, but for everybody saying a running clock or blowout will be wrong IMO!

They will have 5 seniors this year and should be able to have a very successful year. They are getting back a player that did not play last year and will help tremendously in the post! Look for GC to have a very good season. Can they beat Boyle, Danville, or Lincoln? They have to prove it, but they can do it!

I honestly can't see Danville winning by a running clock! I can see Danville winning if they do not have a let down after a big rivalry blowout last week. IMO if this game were played in Corbin I would say Corbin wins! Being played in Danville will make a big difference, but I do think it is a close game.. Could be wrong! Corbin 27 Danville 35

If Garrard can establish the running game early, then they can win. Rock has given up negative rushing yards so far this season. Although I think they haven't seen a team that will line up and run it consistently like Garrard will. Will be tough for Garrard to win at Rock. IMO this will be a low scoring close game. Garrard scores with 2:30 left and executes a 2 point conversion to go up 14-7. Lincoln drives the field and is stopped from 5 yard line with 5 seconds left to win the game. Great rivalry game!!! Both teams left it on the field!!

Honestly to me, this is a toss up game! If Danville can get the ball in the air against the Boyle defense, look out. Dampier has proven to be lethal when he has time!! Will Boyle be lost without their playmaker on offense? It's hard for me to say the Boyle County will be 0-3?!? What? Crazy to think it could happen! I know Boyle will be pumped about this game, because they DO NOT WANT to be 0-3 with tough games looming after this one. IMO I think Danville will pull this one out in a barn burner! I have to say that Rockcastle played much better than I thought they would. My question is, how down is Bourbon this year? Not say Rock didn't deserve to win in that fashion, but what does this say about the Colonels going forward? Seems as if the Rockets are poised to make a deep run in the playoffs this year!

I have a hard time believing that anybody will beat Belfry this year. I can see that Corbin and Central will be their biggest competition this season. If the Pirates can stay healthy for 15 games, they'll win 3A again!
