I don't know where he's gonna go, but I would really like to see him develop and achieve his goals this season for himself and his team..... This will open up so much more for him from a recruiting standpoint. My first observation of Wilson is that he's really not a contact player. He's big but gets a little suspect with banging an opposition that gets too physical with him. What is like to see is a Carson Williams (Owen Co) matchup for him and see how he handles that brut. What a great battle that be!! Wouldn't it be fun??

You know I'm not sure but he needs to be in there. I think they could complement each other and make Boyd County a serious contender. They should be deep and have some developed bigs. He's as good a guard (competitive guard) as I've seen all summer and I've seen him play a lot. He's small and I can see where your coming from but man does he make others better. You gotta have that on the court if your Boyd County don't you?

Well Antrobus leaves Pendleton for Rowan County. That puts the best 2 guard on Thackers Squad. Not sure what else he has but Antrobus is the real deal. Fairview has a stacked lineup! They have all the right pieces to win the 16th but not sure Cooksey can get it done. As for the 16th winning the state tourney, well that's a ways away but it's all in the draw people. ?

Lots of good ball came out of it as well as the girls end of the spectrum. Fairview dominated. Raceland played well and west carter looked nice up there. Saw Fleming get destroyed by Fairview and Fairview turned around a lost to an athletic Maysville St Patrick Team (10 region) who had strong showings up there. Russell looked nice up there winning multiple games both Stump and Raby played extremely well. Looked good early on for the new coach. Thought Raceland had acquired some length over the spring and summer months from their younger class kids, of course Trimble has a nice system in place. Saw Ashland take on Biggs@Mason and fell short about 14-16 points Saw Rowan really play competitive Bball at KBA against strong teams.......I do believe they are the team to beat. They will play the most competitive schedule all season and I'd say after last years regional they are not gonna want to hold anything back this season. Viking Terror all over the 16th.

Grant Co not in the top 10?? That's crazy. Collins repeat, Owen Runner up. Walton will be solid. Gallatin too but really between these four IMO (no particular order) Collins SK Oldham Owens

Any word on the final day I was up at Transy trying to check some of those match ups out! Rumored St Pat looked really nice and Bath played much better. Nicholas look good? Robertson? Wasn't Fleming in attendance today?

Not yet. Hope it works out for the kid. He'll be in for a treat if he's heading up to Greenup. Florida is a much different culture than Greenup.

There's several players in the 10th worth your time to consider over Wilson and Crawford both. Let's hope they stay healthy enough for all to enjoy watching.

Very solid and savvy player. Had a chance over the last couple of weeks to check him out. Outstanding passer and great off the bounce. Very very tough guard for a defender.

Any idea what happened today? Heard St Pat beat that pesky Williamstown bunch and handle Robertson. Heard Nicholas really took care Bath and got now news on Robertson vs Williamstown and bracken games??? Any word on accuracy of this news and updates?

No doubt the loss of the big boy has caused some inconsistency in their offensive and defensive looks, but I felt their biggest weakness was guarding. Lots of reaching and lots of poor help side defense. The little Bauer kid looks solid at the point. The Burton kid has improved and really they just looked timid to me..... Backed down from Bracken??? Not sure why. Thought the Swolsky kid would be better..... Heard 3 key players are on fresh sprains. No excuses though they could've gotten after it better than that in both games. Very soft defensively. Bracken really impressed me with how patient they looked. Nothing rushed and nothing done hastily. They're gonna be dangerous if healthy. Just seemed like they stayed in every play, but maybe it was St Pat and Will-towns styles. I'd have to see them play a Pendleton or Bourbon against them to really assess. Those two games yesterday were not well executed by their opponents. Williamstown gets up and down the floor and really plays "next possession" basketball. They don't look like a team that dwells on lost possessions. That's a great culture. Looking forward to seeing them play today. The St Pat vs Will-Town game should be interesting Nicholas is in clear need of a leader on the sidelines but made a great hire, hopefully the staff has goaled the players focus on individual improvement until NC comes on. I did think they had some good ball handlers, not much on team ball that group. Poor shot selection and no patience beat them vs Robertson. Robertson was scrappy and played very tough and relentless in their 2 games. They will be better than people think. They share well and know how to get on the glass with what they have. Tey run lanes well and they have seniors on the team. That's a great combo. Bath looked very lethargic and unorganized, but looks like they have some tools out there they can put together. Noble should have a better system for his personnel by fall.

Robertson with 2 wins over Nicholas and Bath, Bracken beats Will-Town and St Pat convincingly, St Pat handles Bath Co and opens up competitively vs Bracken before Bracken laid them down early in the 3rd. Didn't catch the Will-Town Devils vs. Nicholas but they were looking mighty pesky vs the Polar bears.

Can't forget about Coach Brown and those Black Devils looking to rebuild after the Cooper era, but let's not forget about his 5 returning seniors and phenom Mason Burdin!

Roger Hardin brings his Demons down and Hinson enters some district/regional summer play with his new squad that rumored to go 9-2 at Georgetown this summer, Coach Taylor (Fleming) takes on minus big man Wilder, Nicholas is playing without a HC, St. Pat has rumored to have had a competitive summer thus far winning multiple times vs tough opponents, and Sean Noble gets a full summer in swing with the Bath Co wildcats. Who's winning and why?

Campbell and MontCo are way out in front. MontCo arguably has the best PG, Best shooter, top 4/5 center, Jared Jones transferred and is a beast and Campbell..... McGovneys is as strong a guard as it gets, and there last season 6'0 underclass men are now 6'4, 6'4, and 6'6 and can feel it up. After those two, the region is practically wide open with the exception of your lower echelon programs. Should be an interesting season. Kirk will have early buy in from the kiddos an they'll be better than ever. I really want to see Snapp come back !!! Might be my favorite player in the 10th all around. Well I shouldn't be biased. I like all players so long as they're 10th boys!

Pendleton by 20+ or Augusta by 3 Lots of momentum for the Wildcats...... Look tough to match

Well I wasn't there but what I can tell you is taunting is a part of the game. I played on championship teams in a couple of sports. Getting heckled can go to far if it's racist in any way. If your gonna play sports then being mentally tough seperates the weak from the strong. Besides st pat had a nice year and had a nice player they are getting better by that coach and it's nice to see a small school play with some toughness and fearlessness. Hopefully Taylor will hang in there a couple of years and keep them improving. That's what it's about. Mason is a tough draw. Congrats to st pat on improving

Those two are certainly deserving I would like to see Owen in the state tourney, that would be awesome.
