Boyd County 2015/2016

Featured Replies

Basketball season for 2015/2016 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Boyd County Remember, please be constructive.

He is a nice player but how does he play serious minutes with Anderson ? They play together and he plays the 2?

You know I'm not sure but he needs to be in there. I think they could complement each other and make Boyd County a serious contender. They should be deep and have some developed bigs. He's as good a guard (competitive guard) as I've seen all summer and I've seen him play a lot. He's small and I can see where your coming from but man does he make others better. You gotta have that on the court if your Boyd County don't you?

I cant see how they would have a better chance this year with Smith than they had last year with 2 bigs that could play.

I see boyd being somewhere between 7-10 this year. And in a couple years with the in coming freshman class they could be contenders.

They will be top 5 easy. The region is pretty down. No way are they as low as 7. Name six teams better.

If they schedule like last season they'll put up 20 wins or at least 18. Wait and see.

I agree I think they are top 5 easy. The big question mark for me is the adjustments or lack of them by Anderson. Great great man and has done a fabulous job in getting them back to being mentioned but not sure they can get over the top with lack of X's and O's

Saw Boyd play last season, thought they should have done better in the region tourney. Had some talented bigs and guards

Seriously underachieved last season

Didn't Anderson coach a State Championship team in WV?

I would think Rowan, Elliott, and maybe Morgan would be better. People are talking up Fairview but I have no idea about them.

I always heard he did at tolsia but I don't know for sure. I just know what I've seen here hasn't been impressive from a adjustment standpoint

Did he not have to adjust at Tolsia or did he forget how?
